The food is great, good portions. But it is so dang loud. Especially when you have 5-6 kids running about, stomping and screaming. Now that's on the parents, not the establishment so just beware it is very family friendly lol

Might be the holy grail of casual dining in Sonoma! Living on the west side of Sonoma proves to be a challenge when wanting to dine at the "hidden gems" and "local's only" spots. The square is wonderful but can get busy on weekends and a bit touristy during high season. Additionally, having a couple of drinks and not wanting to drive home can prove difficult if you don't live close to the square.
Bucks Place is a welcomed addition to the off-the-beaten-path eateries with their welcoming atmosphere, incredibly gracious staff, and delectable dishes. In addition to having great appetizers and pizza, the beer selection was perfect (Coors banquet in the bottle being my personal favorite) as well as a tasty variety of cocktails.
Tucked away on a quiet street in an unassuming part of town, the atmosphere is quaint and VERY casual catering to every style of diner. They quickly accommodated our large group with a spacious table and kept patient while we perused the extensive menu and drink selections.
Bucks will now be our regular hang out. I may even sneak off by myself every now and then to grab a bite and beer at their bar.
One piece that needs to be updated is adding their phone number and perhaps a take-out option to their website. This would help boost patrons especially in the neighborhood.

Great addition to Sonoma!! Quality pizza for a very reasonable price . Was a big fan of the ROSIE pizza when they had it; I’m sure I will find a new favorite. Also, they have soft serve ice cream which is always a plus.
Love the old school atmosphere and “arcade” area. Service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food is delicious, and not run of the mill. Good for the family or date night. My new “go to” place in the valley. Thanks!

Best pizza ever!! We were blown away by the quality, taste and presentation of our pizzas. The pepperoni was awesome, the sausage and thyme was balanced and extremely flavorful (We added onions). The crust is phenomenal as well! Their home made ranch is great! After eating way too much, we didn’t feel even slightly as bad as you would with any other pizza. 10/10 quality. The staff was friendly and helpful with questions. We can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town.

This place looked fantastic and smelled fantastic. The service from the host was wonderful as well as the staff we encountered. However, if you have an out of state ID and are visiting I wouldn’t come here. My friends and I who have Michigan and New York drivers licenses ordered a drink at the bar. We were denied service I had two other forms of government identification with photo ID and my birthday on them. One of which was a passport. They told us they couldn’t serve us and they could not verify my drivers license even after the two other forms of identification. I was extremely disappointed with the response that they couldn’t verify as I had verification. So if you have a California ID you should absolutely go but if you have an out of state ID and look young don’t waste your time. So disappointed and extremely unsatisfied with the service. Also, I was insulted that we talked to the manager and showed her that I had the verification with a passport and she wouldn't give us the time of day. Finally, when I asked what I could do to rectify the situation after my multiple forms of government ID, I was told to get a California identification. So extremely frustrating.
