Friendly and properly attentive service. Fluffy pancakes - some of the best around. Eggs cooked precisely over medium as requested. Bacon cooked crispy as requested. They can cook! Big coffee mugs a plus. Prices great. The menu has a good mix of your standard breakfast meals and some nice specialty items. It has been added to our weekend breakfast rotation. This food is absolutely incredible! It’s the best I’ve had since arriving in Texas. The pancakes are irresistibly fluffy and delicious, and the quesadilla was simply phenomenal. If you ever find yourself in Dallas, Brookside Café is an absolute must-visit for breakfast. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is also top-notch. My experience here was truly enjoyable. First time coming here and I ordered the brookside sampler and a side of grits the bowl was only half full and since the waitress never bothered to come check on the food delivery I went ahead and tasted it and it was bland so I tried the sampler and it was just as bad the hash browns tasted old and where cold so were my sausage links I ordered my eggs over easy and they were over cooked and also cold it was like someone else ordered it before me and it sat under a heat lamp before being sent to me the only thing that was good was the toast will not be back or recommend to anyone was definitely not worth the $20 I spent Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
