The place is a little wooden shack that's been converted into a food stall. It is open air and gives out 100% village vibes. We reached there early and the owners were still busy preparing certain types of food. So we ordered from what was available - variety (around 12 pieces) of yong tau fu, a small fried fish and half a chicken. The chicken was really good and so were the YTF. I especially liked the crispy beancurd. The total for all these is only rm42.50! Honestly, i know places that sell half a chicken for rm45. The boss is very young and friendly. He served us 3 different types of chili sauce and one belacan chili so that we can try out everything. Then we ordered 2 pork congee, one large kuay teow and finally we waited till 7:30pm for the curry laksa. The curry laksa was amazing, kuay teow (dry stir) and congee was average. With a glass of tea, the noodles+congee amounted to rm27.50. Mind u, one of three out of the four bowls were large, the laksa was regular. I really cannot brain how come the boss can serve such affordable yet delicious food. Definitely will be back for the YTF, laksa and chicken. Will also try other dishes/noodles.

Although I am at Broga almost every weekend, I did not know of its existence until I look randomly in google map.
This old and run down shop turned out to be quite famous with some features on some food channel. So I went on Tuesday after work. I reached around 6.30 and was told the curry was not ready. No matter as we have other yong tau foo.
Food wise, it was not very special or extremely delicious but for the price tag, it gets 5 stars from me. Food is fresh, porridge is hot and the noodle was great. It is unfortunate that Char Kuey Teow only available on Fri – Sun.
Everything I ordered in the pic cost me RM25 including 1 soya bean drink!
Location wise, it is located just after the small bridge at broga (opposite MCA office and before the police station). It very old and run down. It’s a rainy night so there is only 4 tables inside the shop. Everything is old and you may not like it if you are not used to very old kampung way.
Parking wise, you need to park at roadside. No proper parking and mostly is ‘sinchun house’.
The boss deserves 6 stars and he is super friendly and super cheerful type.

A 40 years old shop, famous amongst locals and university students. It's operated by an old couple and their son. The whole family is very friendly. Food wise is traditional taste with reasonable price. Opens from 5.00 pm to 11.30 pm, from Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Monday). Recommended if you want to try local and humble food. The place is full of memories for most of the university students.
The food is good, especially the char kuay teow.
But the food preparation speed is super slow, they didn't put the ingredient in the reasonable position to speed up the preparation speed.
And this place is super duper dirty, the shop was made out of unorganized wood and I feel like it will fall down in any minute.
Other than that, remember i saw the owner's daughter(maybe not his daughter, but is a 5-6 years old female kid) peed right beside the shop longkang in front of every customer's eyes. The peeing spot is just about 1 meter far from the char kuay teow stove. After finised peed, she did not wash the hand and continue eating. This scene made me wonder about the awareness of the hygiene of the family.
