This winery was significantly better when it was in Elizabethville. Then the staff were friendly and the location was cozy. The newer facility, while larger and open for more events, feels too much like a mass produced space. The staff, immediately upon arrival, are rude (or at least when we went Saturday afternoon of Mother’s Day weekend) and the inside feels cold and awkwardly arranged with large tables. The selections are fewer, and without the two previous brewers (one being Kyle) the ciders aren’t as varied or flavorful. The wine options remain the same and are comparable to other local PA wines but mediocre in profile and body. The wines have also remained the same over the years without the introduction of any new varieties beyond a few changes to the aging and blending process year to year. If you’re just looking for a glass of wine with a view, this is a great place! However, look elsewhere if you’re looking to learn more about wine varieties, want less curt customer service, or just generally something that feels more local.
Had many varieties from this vineyard and they all taste very much of sulfur. There was sediment all along the neck of 3 of my bottles. Never going to this place again!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff...great variety of wine...craft beers...ciders...mixed cocktails. Had some very good wine. Ambience was not the best but for an "in town" tasting room it was okay!
Love Broad Mountain Vineyard! Such a variety of wine, wine slushies (personal fave), hard cider, cocktails, and craft beer! Complimentary tastings. Little bit of everything to satisfy everybody. Staff is very inviting and knowledgeable.
