My sister and I visited the Brick Oven this week. This was the place to be! The personal pizzas are a great proportion and delicious and the build your own salad bar was a great appetizer. Our waitress, Katie, was SO friendly and attentive. Always had refills and checked on us several times. We felt very welcome and taken care of. We hadn’t been here before and were grateful for the patient hostess and waitress for answering our questions about the menu. The price is very reasonable. The atmosphere is so fun and lively. This is a great place for dates, small parties, after-game dinners, etc. Would recommend to any local or tourist to add this place to your list! Always get the root-beer, it’s famous for a reason! First off let me tell about how long my Wife and I have been going into the Brick Oven. We started going in back when it was known as Heaps of Pizza during the late 1960’s, when you could write your name on the red and white checkered table cloths. The Pizza was very good back then. We have continued to occasionally go in over the years since then. We just recently went into have pizza on 01/06/2024, and the pizza was some of the worse pizza that we’ve ever had. The crust was thick and had no taste, the toppings were very skimpy. Overall on a scale from 1-10, I would rate it at about a 2. I don’t know what you’ve done with the dough, but it hasn’t changed for the good. If we are ever wanting to out some place specifically for Pizza in the future, It won’t be Brick Oven, I can tell you that. Service - good. Salad bar - good. Pasta bar - still looked good. Soup - still looked good Pizza- could have gotten a better tasting one out of frozen section of grocery store. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very interesting building. You start walking through it and it just keeps going and going. They have a heavy emphasis on the salad line and the pasta line. They have some lunch options. Probably a nice place to take the family out or maybe take a date if you're wanting to stay close. The salad bar was very good there was quite a bit of meat toppings to put on it including chicken bacon ham multiple types of lettuce and the plethora of other toppings Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Soup and Salad Bar

Brick Oven, a local gem with a rich history, stands out for its diverse menu. The Market Room (all-you-can eat, Pasta Bar, Soup & Salad Bar) and Root Beer are definite highlights and continues to draw me in time and time again. The Gourmet Pizzas and sandwiches are reliably delicious. Service is always top-notch. A long-time favorite for good reason. The Brick Oven is a staple in the Provo community. They're pretty busy around dinner time, so make sure to make a reservation. They do take-out also, but the atmosphere in the place is fun and lively. We were sat pretty soon after arriving (after checking in for our reservation). Our waitress was kind and gave us time to checkout the menu. We decided on some cheesy garlic bread as an appetizer. Sooo good! We got two 12" pizzas. I got a Hawaiian style BBQ with pineapple and ham. My girlfriend got a chicken-ranch pizza. They were both pretty good! They were very busy - several huge parties - but we didn't have to wait too long. A good experience if you're in the area and want some good pizzas 🍕 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Full Garlic Bread
This place is fantastic. Their really work on the spirit of the place. Is perfect for party. Dinner is very good. Strong recommend. Salads are amazing. A lot of options. Yummy! There was something for each of our kids here, and us adults. It is fun to eat here because it is has been around for so long now! The wait was 35 minutes. They had to round up some utensils for us. We went near closing time and you could tell that they were trying to rush things along so that they could get cleaned up and out of there. They took our parmesan shaker before we were done so that they could get them in the fridge for the night. There was no more garlic bread available at the pasta bar because it was the end of the day even though it was supposed to come with my meal. I loved the root beer. It is very refreshing. The pasta was pretty good too. My husband like the soup. I like the decor and atmosphere. And the wood-fired oven for the pizza was fun to watch. The kids enjoyed the kids meals... pizza, chicken, spaghetti. Each kids meal came with a lollipop. They forgot about those but we made sure to ask at the end. When you want pizza and salad your husband takes you to get pizza and salad. My husbands first time at #BrickOvenPizza they have a great salad bar so we got a pizza with a turn thru the #saladBar Beverages included homemade #rootBeer which is tasty and #appleBeer #pizza was a half #garlicChicken half #ChickenPineapple and was delicious. They also have a good pasta bar but we didn’t get it this time. lots of memories at this original BYU pizza joint. Heaps of Pizza. It’s a good idea to call ahead as it gets very busy at times. This is a fun place with a nice ambiance to eat pizza or pasta. The salad bar is also great with many fresh choices. The Market Room menu choice includes all you can eat pasta bar, soup, salad, and garlic bread. They also have gluten-free pastas and pizzas. The homemade root beer is delicious, as is the non-alcoholic apple beer. You can buy a pitcher of the root beer or apple beer. The servers are also friendly. My parents actually worked at Brick Oven in the early 70s, and I love that they have a lot of the history in the waiting area. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because they put us on the list and then never called us because they had skipped us, so we got to sit and extra 20 minutes. Prices were decent, food was great, loved the salad bar. This place IS on/next to BYU campus, so conversations overheard from other tables were questionable, and we got some glances walking in with motorcycle helmets. Love a big sit down place for good pizza. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Garlic Chicken
