Me and my husband went here for the first time on Saturday and will be our last, food was decent until we got home and found a blonde hair INSIDE my burrito… it didn’t just fall on it, it was cooked in with the ingredients and that’s completely unacceptable. Besides that the place was gross and not cleaned… good luck with the future!

The food was very good. A bit expensive but worth it. Tables are well spaced, the decor bright and airy. The service was good, smiling and joking with us was fun. If you are a large person like me,ask for the table rather than the booths, as the booths are very tight. We customers can be messy, yet the floor needs to be swept more often to get our spillings clean. With the sun gleaming through the windows, I noticed that they needed more cleaning. The menu is large and intriguing. This place has a large and loyal following and I can see why. We WILL be back.

This was our first visit to Brea Lu as we went especially to get the Crab Cake Benedict as seen on the menu. Only to see nothing but a Irish Benedict, Traditional Benedict (which my wife ordered).
I ordered the Western Omelette with toast and home fries.
We had 2 STRONG coffees that were bitter.
Our home fries were cold, the omelet had no taste and was warm. Our waitress did her best to us entertained
This wasn't the breakfast we were expecting , sadly I'd say we weren't impressed and will try another place for breakfast

Server was very nice, however took 15 minutes after being sat to even acknowledge us. Then after ordering, waited an hour for food, which never came. Finally had to get up and walk out, as we didn't have 2 hours carved out of our day for scrambled eggs and toast. Don’t bother with this place if you plan to do anything with your day.

Overall not bad but I would caution you to stay away from the Eggs Benedict. Without getting into graphic details, I contracted the classic symptoms of food poisoning and was sick for several hours after eating this meal. I had the vegetarian version so it was not the meat; I suspect it was from undercooked egg. I ended up only eating one egg due to not only the runny yoke but also the white of the egg was very runny.

Absolutely delicious! A must try. Their homemade corned beef hash is the one you've been looking for I assure you. The massive JR (haha thing was huge) pancake was perfect with the blueberries. And holy cow a place that actually knows what crispy bacon means! The mini waffle sliders were fantastic and just the right amount ! 100% will be back again and again.
We ordered eggs Benedict, A pancake and a breakfast sandwich. The Benedict was good, standard fare with eggs on the slightly well done side. The pancake presentation was the star of the show, one giant pancake that more than covers the plate!
Friendly staff, decent service. Would recommend.

People are right about the potatoes, they were much better than I expected. The pancake was massive, and was extremely fluffy and thick. If you don't like your pancakes this way then I'd pass and get the French toast or something else. There wasn't much flavor from the berries in the pancake nor was the syrup very good. The cinnamon toast they had was a great surprise though, and the service was good as well. The extra charge to share a plate is kinda a turn off though.
Simple and hearty breakfasts for anyone who stops by definitely worth a trip for a great breakfast. They have enormous pancakes that left us surprised 😮. I enjoyed my steak and eggs 🍳 and was not disappointed.
Seems pretty good. Nice hash. A bit pricey for what you get. Someone told me they had great pancake but was a little dense. I was not happy with the price to add veggies to my omelette bit the quality of what I did have was nice.
