The location is absolutely stunning, especially the tables in the vines are amazing. The staff was super friendly. Their specialty is the bread, which is really super tasty! The other dish we tried was the gnocchi, which was a bit too heavy for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Bramon restaurant. The food and service was wonderful. I am so glad I decided to visit them on my birthday. The staff came out to sing happy birthday to me with a glass of sparkling wine. It was such a nice surprise. My husband loved all that was on offer and I'm sure we will be back to try out more items off the menue. Of the different items we ordered, my favorite was the baked cheese with cranberry sauce and the freshly baked bread. I know the bread will always be a must for every visit. We did not do a wine tasting, it was just too hot and it looked closed when driving past. Something to look forward to next time.
A note to anyone going on a very hot day like today (37° C) book your table inside. I would have loved to sit outside but after finishing our meal indoors I walked to the outside seating area. It was incredibly hot. So I will try book a table outside on a nice cool day next time because it looked so lovely.

Baked Camembert
We stopped by for a light lunch and wine and really enjoyed it.
First, sitting between the vines is definitely a special experience and we felt immersed in the relaxed atmosphere of the place. The staff was really nice and helpful throughout.
The tapas style food was delicious! We were recommended to get a bread, which is more like a Challa and 3-4 small plates to share.
We ended up getting the bread, which was definitely enough for two people, two dips, the baked Camembert with fig and macadamia and a pear and Gorgonzola salad. All were absolutely delicious and in generous portions.
They make mostly white wines at the estate, so we had the Chenin bland and the sparkling and enjoyed them both.
Would recommend it and would come back again!

Tranquil, tasteful and calming. A restaurant situated right next to the vineyards. Old school charm. Tapas menu with perfect synergy. Under new management, simply electric!

Service was excellent, very friendly and attentive; the atmosphere was also very friendly, pleasantly understated and inclusive; and the food was the best I have had in the RSA. Each plate was a masterpiece, on its own and in conjunction with the others. I only wish we had the time to return!

Sauvignon Blanc Method Cap Classic
Visited the estate today for lunch at 2pm . The host Nick was warm and welcoming. Most of the food was good,we ordered a lot . The prawns were frozen so least favorite. The bread was very good . The cigars were great . Raviolis were bland . The experience went downhill with the waiter Burton. He never bothered to check up on us during the main meal . I had to flag someone down to get him to assist with desert . I ordered 4 deserts, one of which was a brownie with pecan nuts and ice cream . I received a blob of melted ice cream instead ,no brownie no pecan nuts . I once again had to get his attention and he didn’t pitch up at the table . I then asked the manager Nick to assist as we received a random bowl of melted ice cream only . When Burton brought the brownie , he blamed the kitchen staff for misunderstanding my order . The brownie arrived with no pecan nuts although it states inclusive of pecan nuts on the menu . When I queried it with him ,he lied that all the pecan nuts were finished . Upon receiving the bill , I was charged for the random blob of ice cream . I was also charged the full price for pecan nuts on my desert . I queried this with him and asked him if he actually checked with the kitchen . He admitted he didn’t and gave me false information. He was just too busy to assist me . I gave him ten percent tip( I usually tip 20 percent ) and took it up with Nick the manager . How is it ok that the waiter Burton lied about an ingredient from my desert . As the waiter it was his job to ensure what I ordered was correctly served and that my bill was correct . Burton couldn’t be bothered about my family as customers. I am so disappointed as this was my first experience at Bramon . I spent close to R2000 on lunch and my waiter preferred lying to me and serving me a sub standard desert rather than taking a few minutes and rectifying the issue . To add insult to injury he added stuff on my bill that shouldn’t have been there and showed no remorse whatsoever when I took him up on this issue . I will not be visiting this establishment again . They need to train their staff to treat customers better .
