Without hyperbole, Braid Bakery makes the best babka I’ve had in my life. It’s freshly made to your order, it’s light, it’s soft, it’s just a delightful loaf. I recommend the cinnamon and walnut one, but they also have chocolate. They also have weekly Friday loafs, which are so light, but also hearty. The loaf is covered is a variety of interesting toppings that I’ve never had atop a challah before, but are certainly additive. To order from Braid, you need to go online at least one day ahead; you’ll be picking it up from basically just a house, but there’s some signage. The babka loaf is worth the (light) hassle, I promise! Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
