My husband and I prefer local pubs verses chains when we travel, you meet such interesting people.
We googled a place to eat and have a beer, found this place close to our hotel.
The bartender was extremely nice and efficient, beer was cold. We did not eat due to the patrons vulgarity. Loud and extremely obnoxious behavior… yes all grown adults.
At first we thought it was just a drunk patron, that happens everywhere…but to our dismay it was many and it got worse in the 15 minutes we were there.
So as guessed we got out of there quickly.
As far as the bar service and cleanliness I would say try this place when you visit this town. If you walk in and foul language is being yelled, I would not suggest.
Most places have a rule of conduct this one must not.

Definitely a local gathering spot; "This is a Smoking Bar" sign at door and somewhat low light old times interior but lively, neighborly regulars; foid is home cooked; I had a real good original chili. Good value, low cost meal.
