Kept hearing about their shrimp and grits so 4 out of 5 of us gave it a try, and I must say I was not disappointed!! Absolutely delicious (and this is coming from a Louisiana girl)! Also tried their table side guacamole, and it was by-far the best I’ve ever had! We got the mushrooms in goat cheese appetizer that was the special that night and loved that as well. Service went above and beyond - I can see why this place comes so recommended! If you’re in the area, definitely give them a try! In town for an event and stopped by this Riverwalk restaurant. Honestly the food here is fabulous. Everything we got, even the fries that came with the steak, tasted amazing. Our one and only complaint is the ambience and setup of the restaurant. It is EXTREMELY cramped and claustrophobic. I took a quick look around and the tables don’t seat more than 4, and even then the tables are tiny! They’re seated super close to each other and leaves no room for staff or customers to move around. This place is known for their table side guac and with how little space there is, the poor waiters are doing it sandwiched in between other customers. I really hope the restaurant reconsiders their spacing and how it affects people’s experiences. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

The cocktails were delicious, and the river view was lovely. Although this place may seem a bit touristy, I have to say that the food was amazing. They make the guacamole right in front of you, and it is delicious. and 100% recommended. Stopped here for dessert when I was walking on the Riverwalk the atmosphere was super nice. It was a beautiful night out. I was hungry for bread pudding and a cup of coffee. The coffee was amazing and the server said it was freshly made and fresh ground beans the bread pudding was really good. I ordered it with ice cream on top and it had whiskey sauce my only Thing would be it was a little more dense than I like my bread pudding but overall it was very good Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The food was not as expected. It was mediocre at best. I ordered steak and frites, which I was looking forward to considering the meats are popular options at this restaurant. Unfortunately the steak was dry. The frites were good but a bit salty. The table guac was mediocre. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Super busy, popular restaurant on the Riverwalk! Stopped in for lunch, was lucky to grab a table inside the restaurant but still feel like you are outside along the bustling walk. Service was top notch! I got to see my server prepare fresh guacamole for a table next to me it was super cool! I was happy that they had fresh unsweetened iced tea, and I had a simple lunch of a chicken blt wrap (I skipped the avocado). It was very good and came with thin, super crispy sweet potato fries which were so tasty. The chairs all had fun blankets draped on the back. I have not one complaint! On my next visit to San Antonio, I will make it a point to come back here, but check out the dinner menu. I highly recommend Boudro's!! The Food is High quality, But I would suggest the preparation be better, the sandwich I was not expecting a rare steak on it, the Sirloin was very well however the fries were extremely salty. The service was excellent Dani was very nice waitress!!!! The seating is a not set up for couples and your basically eating next to other people in some areas. I have heard very nice things about this restaurant but I would only leave a review because I want it to be even better then what I've heard about, but it's not as good as I thought, I would of hoped the bread be warm brought out to the table, I'm sure it would be tastier. The portions are alot and so prepare for that. We ate here for lunch and it was not that crowded. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
This is a MUST to check out if you're in San Antonio! I was waited by Melanie, who made great recommendations and prepared my guacamole table side. I also met Sam, the manager who gave me a warm welcome. The service is great, the food is also great. I'm definitely going back. I would love to see what they could do with lamb or goat. I was very satisfied with the service and the steak. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Stopped in during a business trip and so glad I did. Chose a table outside along the Riverwalk. Each seat had a blanket for those that might want to warm themselves while enjoying the river. My waiter, Alan, let me know that the Shrimp and Grits were available, despite the fact that they are a dinner item. I am forever grateful that he did. They were Amazing! Medium heat, succulent shrimp and creamy grits blended to provide an outstanding culinary delight. I most highly recommend Boudro's on the Riverwalk! Wow - all food items and drinks were superb. The “Guacamole for Two” is made with fresh ingredients next to your table. It’s a must-order! We also had the Beef Tenderloin with Jumbo Shrimp ($54) and it was very well seasoned and delicate at the same time. Great staff and atmosphere. Will come back for sure!
