The service, view, and location was great but the food was overpriced and not as good as expected. Do Not Order the Tiramisu - unless you want an overpriced jello like cake the size of an iPod. If you’re from America, don’t get the chicken fingers for your child on the kids menu, most likely the breading will be very absent and a bit soggy. Margarita pizza was great, and tortilla chips that came with the tacos were also great. I recommend if you like spending lots of money on overpriced food. Ok overall.

Amazing service and the food didn’t disappoint. As we came for lunch we had their tacos and a pizza for my daughter. The food was good and it arrived so quick. Ched, the restaurant Manager was very kind, professional, and took the time to answer some questions we had about the beach and surrounding areas. Our server was also very attentive and friendly.

A bit pricey. But really good food. We ordered the spicy beef pot, and the curried goat. Both absolutely delicious. And awesome music. We stayed on a Wednesday and they had live music. Mostly oldies.

The food tasted great here, but the prices were a bit high. If you are looking for a tasty cocktail, order the Flame. We appreciated that the server showed us the menu from the restaurant next door so we got to try to local ceviche, it was amazing! A bottle of Pellegrino was 13 USD! That’s a bit crazy given they didn’t serve tap water here.
We drove from our resort to Sugar Beach and were expecting to have a great lunch at Bonte given that it’s part of a high end resort (Viceroy). While the staff was polite I distinctly got the vibe that non-resort guests are not really welcome. Starting with the fact that they are seated in a back section of the restaurant. Of course you still pay full price for an expensive menu of largely underwhelming fare. The gate agents at the entrance also seemed frosty. The person by the main lobby entrance helpfully directed us to the beach but couldn’t resist sneaking in a snarky comment like “don’t cause too much trouble”. Really?
I think the government of St Lucia needs to send this resort a reminder that this beach and every beach in St Lucia is public property. Stop pretending like it’s exclusively for your guests. Those pitons have been around for millions of years before you showed up and will be around for millions more after you are gone. If you’ve decided to setup your restaurant here and made it open to everyone then treat everyone that walks into your restaurant with the same attitude and respect they deserve.

Would not recommend. The worse meal I had on the island and the most expensive! Very blant fish ceviche, not sour at all and had no flavour to it. I had to ask for limes to taste anything. My child had a spaghetti with red sauce which also was not good, it tasted like a canned Heinz red sauce. Not sure how you can make such a simple dish like this wrong... 5USD for a bottle of water that costs 1USD everywhere else. The cocktail I had was very good but would not eat there again, VERY EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
