Came in for solo lunch. Quick and efficient service. The dolsot spicy pork bowl was perfect for a cold winter afternoon and this was honestly the best miso soup I’ve ever had. Couldn’t be happier with service, ambiance and food. Will absolutely be returning. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If I could give more stars I would, definitely top 5 all time favorite restaurants and probably #1 for overall experience. Everything was fresh and delicious, my fiancé and I both said we couldn’t remember the last time we had food this good. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, great at what she does and so sweet and helpful. We were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday and not only did we get a free dessert, the whole staff actually came out and sang, my fiancé was so embarrassed so obviously that was 11/10 happy memories for me. Can’t recommend highly enough, we will definitely be back soon. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fried Ice Cream

Honestly shocked I haven’t reviewed this place already considering how often me and the fam have dined here. I’ll keep it simple, if you’re looking for quality Japanese or Korean cuisine, Bonjung is THE spot in Collegeville. Great food, service, and ambiance. We go often, and in fact our 5 year old loves this place probably more than my wife and I.

Had a few different things on our first visit. Everything was great and reasonably priced for the quality we received. The presentation on the caterpillar rolls was excellent 🙏🏻 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
There is a great ambiance to this reatraunt when you walk in and get seated. The staff is warm, inviting, and very attentive. They, like everyone else, are understaffed but gave us free appetizer and asked if we would like more while we waited for our Love boat! You don't find that kind if attention at other restraunts. We will definitely go back to try out their Korean BBQ next. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Can’t say enough about this place! Service is great! My child loves Korean food but we don’t have any good ones around our area so we drove all the way from Reading too Collegeville and she wasn’t disappointed !!!! I was hoping after two years of being away to find the place the same way I left it, it was. Great authentic .. All sauces are hand-made Greg and his team are always kind. The chef is outstanding. Always clean!!!!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

First time having gluten free Korean food and it was SO GOOD! Staff relayed any questions to the chef who even came to ask how the food was. Large portions made for excellent leftovers! The miso soup and some sushi was also gluten free and very tasty. I have celiac and felt very taken care of and didn’t get sick. Will definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again! Edit: second time here in a week. It only gets better. Oh my god we are in love with this place. Loved the food. Our waiter was very nice. Food is unbelievably good. My husband and I got a sushi roll to share together with the beef and scallion appetizer. Both were amazing. I got the hibachi chicken and my husband the Bul Go Gi. Both were just fantastic. Portions are big, prices were fair. Highly recommend, we’ll go back soon.
One of the best Japanese/ Korean restaurants in Pennsylvania. The tasty Bibimbap was served in an (authentic), extremely hot stone bowl which made the outer layer of rice to create a lovely crispy crust. Others in our party ordered a sample of sushi, miso soup and green tea ice cream. Overall the evening was very pleasant and we’re determined to visit Bonjung at the next opportunity.
