My wife and I went to Bonita Beach Balloon Bar and Grill yesterday afternoon for happy hour and dinner. We have been frequenting this establishment since 2018, but recently it has gone downhill! We both ordered drinks, soup and entree's. I then asked the waitress to take a picture of us before she put the order in so we didn't have food in the picture. She stated "sure, I'll be right back" then left, never returning to take the picture. Our soup was brought out by another server and my chicken tortilla soup was mostly broth. After a few spoonful's I decided to send it back. Our waitress returned to check on us and I asked for another soup. The second soup was better, more stock in it. When our entree's were brought out, my wife's pulled pork sandwich didn't come with pickles which it was supposed to. She told the server who brought out the sandwiches who brought back a small condiment cup of six small pickle slices. After finishing our dinner, we received our check. My wife noticed a $1.00 charge for the pickles that were supposed to come with the sandwich. When she mentioned this to our waitress, the waitress responded "not my policy" and walked away. Needless to say we will NEVER return to Bonita Beach Balloon Bar & Grill, we've had it! Very poor service, zero customer satisfaction, soup with no stock and very expensive. For the prices of the sandwiches, you shouldn't have to pay extra for condiments that are listed on the menu as coming with the sandwich. How much do you have to pay for the ketchup and mustard!?
