I was in Sousse for work. The night before my birthday I went to ask for ordering 30 pastries (ny rolls, pan chocolat etc). The day after was everything ready. The people are very nice and kind. Sweets are very good especially ny roll

Pretty average.
I don't recommend the cake.
If you're looking for a normal croissant or french pastry you'll get what you're expecting.
Fair value for money 💰
Update: the establishment reached out to me apologetically and took appropriate action to prevent this sort of incident from happening again. I am satisfied by the quick response and feel much more valued as a customer. I will continue to shop here, and I have adjusted my overall rating of the business.
I’m really disappointed in this place due to my most recent visit. I’ve been a regular customer for three years. My husband and I love treating ourselves to the bread and snacks. We are well-acquainted with most of the staff. That is why I can’t give this place one star.
HOWEVER: today I walked in to a woman I don’t know looking blankly at me. I went right up to the counter and instead of receiving our usual warm greeting I received nothing but a stare.
I asked for “wehid éclaire” seeing there was one left (and I always only talk in Arabic) The woman looked around as if she didn’t know what to say. It was awkward from the beginning and I was picking up huge negative vibes from her body language. Finally she said in an annoyed voice (in arabic) that it was already sold. Then she called over a male coworker and spoke with him and smiled to him (I couldn’t hear what they were saying due to the volume). I got the feeling like she was trying to save the last eclair for herself or something. Then the man repeated what she said. I responded by asking how it was sold and it was still in the case. They said someone in front of me bought it. I asked who, knowing the people in front of me were already checking out and had taken their stuff.
I get it, maybe she wanted it for herself. Or who knows. She could have been polite and honest with me and I wouldn’t have minded. But instead she was rude from the beginning.
I just left upset and told my husband, who confronted them, and her excuse for not talking to me from the beginning was that she didn’t understand English. I didn’t say one word to her in English. Even one of the other workers who knows us seemed to be on our side, knowing we wouldn’t just come in making problems out of nowhere.
This woman has zero customer service skills and it’s really a shame because now out of principle I will not be spending my money there knowing it’s paying her salary. What a shame because most other people there are great. That one needs to find a new job though, one that doesn’t involve interacting with customers. Her whole vibe was that of she didn’t want me to be there, she didn’t want to be there, and how dare I ask for something I saw in the case.
