I instantly feel in love with their cake doughnuts(sooo good that I forgot to take a picture before they were all gone 🤣). They didn’t look fresh when we got them but they tasted like they came right out of the fryer. Their vanilla bean filled dough tasted like I was bitting into a fresh croissant. The cream was very light compared to what I am used too, but it better that way in my opinion. Also, try their lattes! You won’t regret it.
This is a great little doughnut shop. It was my first time trying it. The doughnuts are huge, and they specialize in a select variety... so the selection is limited, but the items they have are top-notch.
I just decided to try the vanilla bean cream, brown butter glaze, and the doughnut holes as there are only two of us trying the items. However, the employee helping said the cake doughnuts freeze well, but maybe next time, I'll try that.
My favorite was the brown butter glaze, which is what they are known for, and it was pretty glorious!!! One of those could fill a person up, but we shared that one as my personal choice was the vanilla bean cream. It was good, but I would say the brown butter glaze beat it.
The doughnut holes come in a 6-pack and are $2.25. They are glazed and very delicious... soft, sugary, and melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
The brown butter glaze was perfect, it had a eggy, soft texture for the actual doughnut and the brown butter glaze was not overpowering in sugarness, but it was just an excellent doughnut that I would definitely, 100% come back for!
I don't drink coffee, so I didn't try that. I noticed they let you order ahead and have a counter where you can pick up your items.
The staff was very friendly and helpful in making my decisions... as well as being very knowledgeable.
While reading other reviews of this place, people will drive out of their way to come to Bogart's, and I would say that I agree with that statement. Not only are the doughnuts awe inspiring in size, but they are soft, delicious, and perfect for bringing to work or an event.
I will definitely be coming back... and my suggestion, if you don't drink coffee, is that these doughnuts go great with chocolate milk.
These are alright donuts. We tried a few: the chocolate cake donut, the vanilla bean buttercream donut, and the brown butter glazed. We also ordered some donut holes.
The donut itself is made of a brioche dough, but it lacks the signature chew I like in a donut. That is, however, the nature of brioche dough. It's flavorful, but it's a bit weird.
The best tasting donut in my opinion was the brown butter glazed, but the name is a bit misleading since only the top is dipped in a small amount of the glaze. When I hear glazed, I picture the whole donut submerged.
The cake donut was pretty good too, but it had kind of a powdery aftertaste that's hard to describe.
The filled donut is too big. I had to eat half of the donut before I reached the filling.
I still need to try the basic glazed donut, as those are always my favorite. The donut holes we ordered were on the dry side, and they could have used more glaze in my opinion.

YUM! The lavender and the brown butter glaze were so delicious! Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Thank you for such a great start to my morning!
Vanilla bean buttercream is my husband's favorite donut anywhere. We have been going here about 8 months & the vanilla bean buttercream is consistently delicious. High quality with plentiful filling.
My donut is the brown butter glaze and the donut itself is consistently good but the glaze has been hard & cracks all over with the first bite lately. When the glaze is soft, it's perfect. Overall they make delicious donuts. We have started to order online the night before because they do sell out on Saturday mornings.
People that complain about the store are just looking for issues. I like the fact that I can see everything they offer when I first walk in. It's thoughtfully arranged for quick service.

The best donuts in town. I checked out the new location this morning and it’s in a great spot. Lots of parking available.
My favorite is lavender cake donut. I also the the vanilla cream. I disagree with the person that says it has no flavor. Maybe it’s their tastebuds. 😂
I am happy they sell a small variety at Linden Hills co-op.
One of the best Donuts I’ve had. I purchased 1 Nutella filled and one raspberry filled. Honestly the Donut was so delicious it didn’t need filling. Large and fresh, which is good since they were $4 each. A bit pricey but I would purchase them again.
I gave only 4 stars because the store looks like they stopped midway in setting it up. Definitely some improvement needed in making it look like an actual Donut Shop.
I ordered a Hot Chocolate and a Brown Butter doughnut. The gentleman that took my order was working alone and he waited on 3 people before me, very busy. I was excited to get my order and especially my drink. My hot chocolate was extremely hot so I tried my donut, first bite, the majority of the icing fell off, down the front of my sweater while I was at work! And the dough was was moist, very unexpected. Too messy so I threw it away.
Now it was hot chocolate time, first sip, the smell of BURNT COFFEE hit me first but the taste that followed was bitter, with a note of coffee and was extremely watery, definitely not hot chocolate! What a sad and expensive trip to Bogarts for what I really was excited about that morning!
Never again!
Oh..NO atmosphere, very sterile.
NOT kid friendly!

Brown Sugar Raised Donut
Tried this place for the first time and was sadly disappointed. When you first walk in you smell the great aroma of yeast and that gives you high hopes. But once you look at the small selection it leaves you with very few options. The donuts tasted day old and for the price of $2.25-$4 makes it even worse. I will stick with Donut Hut in Little Canada.

I went to grab a doughnut before I started work. I got an original raised doughnut ($3) for myself and a chocolate cake doughnut ($2) for my significant other. For a $3 doughnut, it was lacking so much flavor, barely sweet. My significant other said the same about his as well. Barely any chocolate flavor. Not sure if they’re always this way or if I caught them on a bad day. I just don’t think the doughnuts are worth the price. Coffee was good though.
