The food was great (ordered a Southwestern Omelette), service was great, and the atmosphere was nice! I went with my wife, brother-in-law, and father-in-law. We were able to enjoy our meals and converse without any disturbances. I had never dined at a Bob Evans priorly, but will be back and highly recommend! Waited 10 minutes to be seated staff looked at us and just waited to see who would seat us. Then we waited ten more minutes for someone to take our drink order and was told that they were not sending any orders back to the kitchen then they finally.took our order and we waited 30 minutes for food went and asked about the food and was told the cooks were on break. Service: 1
Slow. Yes, it was a Sunday but server who was to wait on me concentrated on the table behind me (either family or close friends). The hostess took my drink and food order and brought me my food when it was ready. Have mixed emotions on who to tip… my actual server’s only time to speak to me was when he brought me my check - did wish me a Merry Christmas. I am from out of town but the last two times I’ve brought my parents here the staff is unbelievably nice and helpful. I wish all restaurants could have staff like this. The food is great and so is the service. They need a pat on the back for sure. ❤️ Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stopped here on our way home to Tennesse and had a great experience. Our server was great, attentive and accurate. He read our order back to us just to be sure it was right and when the food came, he was sure to fulfill all our needs before leaving the table again. All our food was hot and fresh. Upon leaving, multiple employees told us to have a great day. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

So, I usually don't slam restaurants completely all the way around. In this case food was average, portions were extremely small for the Dollar amount of the breakfast. Service was less than average, and the atmosphere was not typical southern hospitality. I would recommend not ordering Ham, 2 eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee. It cost $17.59. Coffee was $3.75 for a cup! The portions were so small it took 4.5 minutes to cook. Definitely not worth the price. Enjoyed the potato soup. The dinner plate I order was surprisingly good. The chicken was hot and very tender and juicy. The breading on the chicken wasn’t hard. Kind of a taste like a shake and bake. I liked it. I substituted my corn and mashed potatoes to home fries, and the mac & cheese. The sweet tea needed work. Wasn’t strong enough… or sweet enough. Wife had to ask for a Pepsi instead. The waitress was very nice. Checked back often to see how we were doing. Everything seemed ok. The place is alittle out dated. And as I looked up the ceiling, air ventilation system needs cleaned. Ive worked in food service and this was the longest it ever took to get our food and when we did the lettuce on mine was VERY wilted and only some of the toppings were on the sandwhich then i asked for more ketchup when we sat down since the bottle was empty and never got it. The server was a nice girl but the service of the food was so slow. It took over 45 minutes. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Terrific all day classic breakfast options. Food is cooked to order and served hot. My favorite is the whole hog meal. Clean, cozy indoor dining area that offers a lot of privacy. Staff is friendly and efficient. Has a tendency to be crowded after church on Sunday. Plan on spending $30-$40 for two people after meal and tip. I have always loved Bob Evans. There isn’t one near my home anymore (Charlotte, NC.) My family goes to either Kentucky or Florida one time a year, where there is always a Bob Evans nearby to look forward to! Today upon our arrival to Kentucky, we pulled up to Bob Evans in Somerset around 12 pm after our drive. I was excited to get some breakfast, even though it was 12, because they serve breakfast all day. When you walk inside you will be greeted with 10 pictures and signs on every wall including bright red strawberries. “try our new strawberry lemonade, strawberry pancakes, strawberry oatmeal, strawberry breakfast, lunch and dinner items!” Okay, I was actually very intrigued by their advertising. I ordered the ‘fresh strawberry oatmeal’. Yum! Our waitress snaps at me saying “Alright we don’t have strawberries. It’s going to have to be oatmeal with strawberry syrup instead. People don’t normally order strawberries past 11.” Almost like she expected me to know that they “don’t have strawberries past 11” already. Which honestly, I find that verrrrryyyyy hard to believe. I work in a restaurant myself back home where it doesn’t matter what time of the day it is, if we are advertising all over the place for our *new hot menu item*, we will most definitely be serving it at all times of the day! ***All menu items for that matter.*** This makes no sense to me. So there is a period of time between the day where strawberries just disappear from the kitchen, but they magically come back around for those lunch and dinner items I saw posted on the walls I’m sure. Also I just read another review on Google of a lady saying that she ordered a fruit cup and some chicken soup. When she got home with it, the fruit cup had no strawberries in it!? Hmmm…. I bet the manager could definitely have found some strawberries back there in the kitchen. Especially since they are literally being advertised all over every wall and on every page of the menu. Serve the item or take down all the signs!!!! I enjoyed my oatmeal, and I’m not aiming to bash Bob Evans in general because it doesn’t change my opinion on the chain or the food itself. This just showed me that the workers here must be too lazy to cut up some dang strawberries for one bowl of oatmeal. Ever heard of customer service?
