Beautiful view and great place to watch the sunset but the food was awful and overpriced. The fish was good and fresh but everything else was terrible - mushy and inedible. There was no menu so imagine the surprise when the bill was over $150 ttd per person for “dinner” and a bottle of water. The definition of a tourist trap. I’d recommend here for getting a beer but if you want food then definitely buy from the locals.

This is not only my favorite bar and restaurant in Tobago but probably one of my top favorites in the world. It is absolute heaven. The food is delicious, the drinks are wonderful, the service is fantastic, and the views are other worldly.
Sharon and Brenton make you feel like part of the community, the regulars are all very friendly, and did I mention the views?!
There’s nothing quite like watching the fishermen boat up to the bar, sell some fresh caught fish and lobster to Sharon, and then eat that fish maybe 15 minutes later.
I just cannot recommend Boatview enough.
Absolutely loved hanging out at the Boatview for a week! Sharon is an amazing host, making my family and I feel comfortable and welcomed. We would spend lazy days on the beach and loved retreating at the Boatview. Wednesday evening African drums was so enjoyable. Food and drinks were very tasty and creative.
The definition of a rustic location... it does come with the service limitations that go with it (limited food / drink options) but staff are super great (the chef made my 15 month daughter a free fish sandwhich).
Being on the beach is a huge plus and the waters are teaming with life (including rays) that come right upto shore.
