Had reservation for 945pm. Arrived at 945 pm and despite sign that says wait to be seated no host present. After several minutes we sat at the bar ordered drinks and told bartender we reserved a table. He said we'd have to talk to hostess. Asked if we could just order food at the bar he said yes. Asked for appetizer while we looked at menu. Waited several minutes for that bartender or any of the many staff behind the bar that were present to even acknowledge our presece. When the bartender that gave us menus did finally return with appetizer, he told us the kitchen was closed and we could no longer order. Don't know why they would give a 945 reservation if the kitchen would. Never did see a hostess return. Would have ordered entrees at the same time as appetizer had he said something. Thought surely since we were there before the kitchen was closed and had a reservation at 945 they would make an exception. Didn't even offer to comp the appetizer, or a drink for the inconvenience. Luckily, Captain Mike's just up the road had great service, delicious food, and friendly staff. And their kitchen was open until 1045. It was my girlfriend's birthday and they saved the night. My husband and I went for valentines meal and the food was 100% delicious! The room set up was quiet and beautiful. The waitress Gabe was a great server she was busy but always checked on our table. If you want a wonderful meal for valentines day go here, you won't regret it !!!! Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We loved our visit to Boathouse! We are visiting from out of town and loved our first dinner there that we came back the next night to have dinner again. Their drinks are fun and creative and the menu is more refreshing than traditional bar food. All of the servers, bartenders, and waitstaff in general were very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is lively without being too loud great for families, friend gathering, just for drinks and apps, all of the above. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love the variety of options they have for Long Islands, as well as their long list of various cocktails! The tomato soup was delicious, and the Prime Rib Dip Sandwich was pretty good. I also tried the Pretzel appetizer, which was soft and tasty. The service was great! Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Had the calamari as an appetizer. We really liked the breading they use but be warned, the little white breaded onions are pickled....was a shock if you weren't expecting it. Clam chowder was rich and had lots of veggie chunks. Salmon burger was cooked nicely and made with a salmon mixture formed into a patty shape and cooked. Nice little spot for brunch. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Calamari
Garden salad and nachos were awesome. Being vegeterian I asked not put the meat on nachos and they readily agreed. The meat was given to my nonvegeterian freind who was happy too. So great service. He also had cheese curdling. I had nonalcoholic Heineken. Overall great experience with views of Lake Michigan! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was a mixed bag experience, some good and some missed the mark. First the good. Friday fish fry beer battered walleye was very good. Waffle fries are a fun option. Cole slaw was very creamy and fresh. Very good. Also, our waitress was attentive in spite of it being a busy Friday night. Now the not so good. I am going to assume that we caught our hostess on a bad day. She could have been nicer is the most diplomatic way I can describe our pre-dining welcome. I thought that the fish with the potato battered crust was an interesting idea in theory, but in practice it tasted like it was battered in sand. The crab cakes were dry and tasted much more like fish than crab. They were obviously made in house, which I appreciate. When the bill came the food was not listed on the receipt. There was no way to verify the accuracy of the bill. My biggest gripe is that the smoking area was next to the outdoor seating area. Maybe that's just how they do it in Kenosha? At one point there were 3 people smoking about 8 feet from where my family was eating. It was a super nice building with loads of potential. Missed opportunity. Unfortunately couldn't sit outside and had to wait a long time to get beverages at the table. The water smelled and tasted bad and we ordered a drink from the bar that came wrong 3 times. Asked for ranch was not informed it was an extra charge. The food was good, only thing is if you order salad there get your dressing on the side, my salad was drenched and became inedible. Overall an OK experience. Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
