Excellent fried calamari! I also loved my shrimp taco and Manhattan clam chowder, soup was very tasty and hot. The taco had a nice kick to it with the green sauce. Stopped in here for lunchon a business trip. It was so good that I came back for dinner the following evening. I had the fisherman's plate for lunch on my first visist. THe oil the food was cooked in was clean. All of the seafood (and fries were cooked perfectly. My only critque was that I found the cod to be flavorless which was disappointing, but it was again, cooked absolutely perfectly. My dinner meal was a cup of the clam chowder and the Medterranean Tuna Salad. Both were absolutely top notch and two of the best of each that I have eaten outside of my own kitchen, I'll be working in the San Diego area off and on over the next several months and I plan to stop in several times when in town. The service from the enitre staff that I interacted with was exceptional. Even if the food wasn't 5 star, I would still come on here due to the serfvice provided by the staff. Had such an amazing dinner, we went back for lunch the next day and had the swordfish plus we tried the crab sandwich. The ahi dinner was great as well as the swordfish. Both were so fresh and cooked perfectly. Staff was very attentive. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our first visit here. We both tried the trout almondine, New England clam chowder, and wine. Service was impeccable. The food was flavorful and generous portions. We plan on visiting again to try some other menu items, however, the trout almondine is worth coming back to again. Added bonus: sourdough bread and butter was 100% devoured. We live outside of CA, so it's a treat when the bread is the way we remember it from San Francisco. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
