Wonderful coffee. I tried the Guatemalan blend this morning and was able to taste each note of caramel, citrus, and chocolate (I hand ground the beans and gave it a pass through my french press). There was no bitterness whatsoever and I feel energized and ready to tackle a long day's work. I'll be sharing some beans with my friends in the area to try as well.
Me and my wife have been frequenting the yogurt shop for years before just to get his great coffee, and now that he's started to roast HIS OWN BEANS, it's even better. For him to allow his customers to bring home the same coffee his uses is a Godsend.
I'd recommend the Southern Cross Blend (Whole Bean). Dark roast that isn't overly bitter. Use it at home to make cold brew (65g coffee to 800ml water) and it comes out smooth.
Helpful that he has a subscription model. Like it so much I get the 5lb bag. The only drawback is that the site advertises next day pickup, but he doesn't roast them until it's actually paid for, which delays it a bit. It's worth the wait though for quality.
I highly recommend this coffee. It's a bit pricey, but one has to pay for quality. Beans have a great sheen to them, smell is fantastic, and nice to know one is getting stuff that hasn't been sitting on a shelf for months.
