Delicious food at a lovely location. I was skeptical when the guy from the boat dropped me off there, specially because I was the only costumer for a really late lunch. It was one my best gastronomic experiences in Myanmar. I had the special lake fish and the tomato soup and it was fantastic. My 10 year old waitresses were lovely
I didn't like the food at all. I order some tempura vegetables and vegetable fried rice. Both were not good are all. Specially the rice it didn't feel fresh. The prices are high because it's a touristic place. If you're doing the Inle Lake tour is probably that the boat driver leaves you there.
The worst restaurants on earth , waiting time an hour, doesn't even make sense when there is only 15people in the restaurants. About Food ? This restaurants serve the food that I would've throw in to rubbish bin in the city. Compare food to the price ratio it doesn't worth it. Properly the boat driver takes you here and when away, leave you isolated with this restaurants like it or not. Don't like to comment ethics of the boat driver and restaurants. Since they needed to declare their relationship between restaurants and the boat driver .
As others have mentioned, it's a bit of an obligation to go as you've most likely been dropped here as part of a tour. It's nice though. I have bad-ish food poisoning and the vegetable soup was good for that, very little oil.
Complete tourist trap and I assume that the boatmen are paid a commission to bring us there, which I don't mind in itself as long as the restaurant is decent however... The food was overpriced and poor, the fresh orange we ordered was unbelievably bitter and undrinkable (and looking around the restaurant we weren't the only ones unable to drink it).
It took an hour to be served fried rice and a salad which really eats in to your sightseeing time. Finally they tried the typical tourist scam of overcharging on the bill which was quickly amended when we spotted it. All of the above is extremely disappointing when our stay in Myanmar has so far otherwise been perfect and the people amazingly kind, helpful and friendly.
If you are with a Boat trip, **please read**
First of all the boat trip is not worth it at all. They basically take you to different shops and want you to make a purchase at each stop : cigar, silver, long neck lady, fabric ...
LUNCH TIME WARNING:
If your boat man takes you to Blue Sky restaurant for lunch, tell him to TURN AROUND and pick your own restaurant.
This place is PACKED with only tourist, they made a deal with the boat man. The food is pricey as hell , and it takes hours to serve your bad food
I could’ve swam across to the other restaurant , order, finish my meal, swim back, and still be in time for them to serve me my original order.
DO NOT GO HERE they will ruin your boat trip.
I really hope they stop this tourist trap because it is very unpleasant and makes us feel uncomfortable as tourists.

the boat trip takes you here, but this is basically their arrangement. There are WAY better food that is around the Lake area. Please save yourself money and time. Read this and dont come here
Comida rica a precio razonable teniendo en cuenta que la ubicación es Lago Inle.
La sopa de Nodles con pollo estaba muy rica, el arroz con pollo un poco soso, creemos que es pq ellos ponen picante y como nosotros no tomamos la comida queda más sosa.
Creo que no hay restaurantes mucho mejor, todos parecen más o menos iguales.
