We made a quick pop in after our eye appointment. We ordered a wide variety of sweet and savory treats to sample with the kids. No disappointment here. Friendly service, cute little area in back to enjoy our treats and a latte. My youngest was obsessed with the chocolate butter cream cupcake, topped with a little brown cow. My oldest would recommend the smores cake to share. For a more savory option the ham and cheese croissant was a great grab for a brisk walk to the car. My husband treated himself to a triple chocolate croissant that he saved for a late night snack. My personal favorite was the blackberry lemon cake. if my husband happens to read this- this would make a wonderful birthday cake-hint hint😉 Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pastry Cream and Berry Tart

Solid 4.5. This bakery has a large variety of baked goods that are all homemade and fresh. We got a cookie that had salted caramel, peanuts and pretzels and was delicious! We also got a cinnamon sugar croissant-like pastry that was very good as well. We also got a Salted Caramel Pretzel Brownie which was okay but not as good as the others.

I have never left here disappointed. I have not bought anything here and been anything other than satisfied. I’ve tried a variety of the cakes, savory pastries, and cookies. The workers are always friendly. They offer gluten free options and will help you with allergies if you ask them. I highly recommend any variety of dessert that is lemon/blueberry—especially the cake.
Seems a very in demand local bakery spot! Wait wasn’t long despite its popularity. Iced coffee had a cool surprise and I ordered French butter cake and it was delicious! Lots of great combination baked goods!! Kind and personable owner!

A nice bakery that a local told me was the best in Oberlin so I decided to go in. There isn't much space to look at everything. Luckily, it was pretty empty so I moved around without having to squeeze passed people. The showcase platters were pretty empty by the time I got there (4pm). Pro is that this means they make stuff daily. Con is that it's in short supply so they run out quickly. No fifth star due to a lack of prices on each item so I didn't know what I was going to pay until I got to the register, the prices were somewhat high, and the treat I got was dry so I feel like I overpayed for a mediocre (if that) piece of food. Presentation was great (treats looked yummy) but the actual flavor was lacking.

Blue Rooster is the absolute BEST bakery around. We love the different options. We've ordered cakes for events. We had them make our sons wedding desserts. They did a great job. The atmosphere is very peaceful too!

I never write reviews but feel the need to say how excellent these baked goods are. Truly wonderful. Best bakery in the area.

Such friendly and inviting workers! The seating was great and there were so many baked goods! Got a slice of cake and a lemon crinkle cookie and it did not disappoint! All the options looked mouthwatering and smelled delicious! Totally recommend checking this place out!
