Delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, great place to have a meal or socialize. Earl Gray Cider on tap was great, mild cider, not the tangy bite that most have. It was really good to see a lager on tap as well and we really enjoyed it too.
Large selection of wine and beer, full freezer of take-home meals, great selection of gifts. They make their own Bennie wafers that are the best I've tasted.
If you haven't visited, you're missing out.
I see on the reviews that they have sangria, I'm looking forward to that on my next visit.
I went to this place for the first time for a chef's prix-fixe valentine's day meal. It was absolutely fantastic. I say that as a person that is usually happy with most restaurant food, but feel that I can usually do better at home. That is not the case for the meal that I had there, there is no way I could have done a better job at home.
There was attention to detail on the plate, everything was *perfectly* cooked (shrimp, grouper, and beef tenderloin filet), and the service staff was absolutely impeccable. We will be making many return trips. Sad to say I didn't get any photos (the food was beautiful), but the atmosphere was awesome, and the experience was worth staying off of mobile devices. I don't think I saw a phone the whole evening, so that speaks volumes.
Very nice wine selection, and pricing is very good by today's standards. Would recommend.
I am a fan of Blue Moon but this was my first visit to the Bodega. We had a great time! The atmosphere, music and FOOD was spot on. Highly recommend and definitely will be returning.
We love Blue Moon Bodega. It is a favorite lunch spot for me and friends. Not only is the food delicious; but the service is superb and the restaurant is spotless. We also love that they have a nice outdoor space that is covered.
Great prime rib dinner! Lexi was amazing with her sangria special. Hope for more dinner options soon. It’s so nice to have a relaxed place to enjoy fresh air, good food, drinks & live music.
This made my day! I went to get lunch and Stacey, Rett, and Addie were amazing and the Yep! Southwest Wrap was the best! Thanks Blue Moon Bodega, I’ll definitely be back soon!!
I just moved to Spartanburg a few months ago, saw some good reviews and thought I'd check this place out. I went with my daughter about 7/7:30pm on a Saturday. They were empty and seemed like they had kind of been cleaning up to pre-prepare for closing at 9pm. Everyone was very welcoming and in fact when we asked about their food menu, the gentleman who helped us was extremely accommodating and willing to make us anything we wanted. He talked about the menu items that were most popular, advised us on craft beers and sodas and other drinks and offered me a sample of their cider on draught.
We ordered the chicken salad on a croissant and the Athena wrap with BLT ranch pasta salad. Both were so delicious and perfectly constructed with complimenting ingredients. We sat on the covered patio with the heaters and enjoyed a great evening meal and the employees took great care of us.
10/10 would recommend any day. Can't wait to try their ready to heat meals and soups too! Also, definitely heading back on Wednesdays for $5 beers!
Nice place to stop by for a drink and light fare before heading over to WOFFORD to watch a volleyball game. Lots of great drinks and food to choose. The porch is a great place to eat. There was a small band there when we were there. Interesting music. Not sure I'd choose to hear them again, but catching up with old friends so well worth the visit. May check the schedule before going again.
It is pricer than I'm used too. HOWEVER, I would go back time and time again. The Boda-Bing sandwich was perfect, the Asian inspired marinaded cucumbers are addictive.(Please try these), and they even serve beer from one of my favorite local breweries, New Groove!
Definitely check these guys out. One of my new favorite lunch spots for sure.
We came to hear Fay Bullard perform on the back patio and she was great! It was a very pleasant evening temperature wise, with a good breeze flowing through the lovely patio area. I enjoyed my beet & spinach salad very much, although I felt the scoop of chicken salad on top was a bit skimpy and some of the greens were quite wilted. I had to pay $13, plus a tip, for a vodka and soda because they only serve craft cocktails. I am on a keto diet and cannot have all that sugar! The bartender was very compassionate, but she said there was nothing she could do but charge me for the closest craft cocktail in the ingredient list. Seems to me that this establishment is doing themselves a disservice by not serving regular bar fare. Maybe I would’ve had two drinks and I would come more often if I had been charged accordingly. Overall, the prices seem a bit high for a place that requires you to come to the counter to order, both for food and drink. And you have to get your own non-alcoholic beverages. Servers do come to the table with your food, however. And we were not charged a cover for the entertainment. I will probably not come here on a regular basis unless I am motivated by the entertainment offerings, unfortunately.
