Besides having a large beautiful open space with nice bathrooms and a big bar things didn’t go well. We arrived and were greeted warmly but the waitress didn’t communicate well about anything leading to my friend and I leaving disappointed after she didn’t ask about salt or no to the margarita. Then forgetting to put in our appetizer order. When the entrees arrived they were lukewarm and the salad didn’t have dressing and the Rasta pasta was bland even though it was supposed to be spicy 🌶️. I think they need to do some training for both kitchen and waitstaff before I would go back or recommend anyone to try this place. Four of us had lunch. Parking is easy. We were seated immediately. Menus selection came across as more limited than I was expecting. Service was ok. Portions are modest. They are trying to be fresh and hip but not yet there. Live music during our visit was poor and too loud. A better menu and improving food quality would make this better. Very good food and excellent service! My friend and I both ordered the jerk shrimp tacos, and we shared the chips and salsa. I really enjoyed the magazine slaw on the tacos, but my only wish was that the jerk seasoning on the shrimp was more aggressive. It was definitely underseasoned; barely a whisper of jerk seasoning. Other than that everything was great! We especially enjoyed the adult beverages (very creative mixology) and the yummy key lime pie. I am a local, so I will definitely be back again! Excellent food and drink, with great service. We came on a monday at 2:30, it was happy hour! Yay 6$ drinks, and 15% off apps. Painkiller and a sangria, both were excellent. For mains we got the salmon club wrap & Guava braised short rib poutine. Wow, both were so good! The fries (upcharge with the wrap) are so crispy yet soft on the inside, the salmon was fresh and the char on the wrap was perfect. The poutine was so good! Yum. Highly recommend! Found this place recently through a friend. Love the poutine fries, they are fabulous. A great place to get together with a few friends. The bread pudding with a twist was a nice change. The Nashville Hot sandwich had a good amount of heat and the drinks were good. Staff is great and friendly. Will definitely be back soon. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly and tasted great. We definitely need to go here more often. In addition to great food and great service, it's nice not to have to deal with the downtown Portsmouth weekend congestion. This is becoming one of our regulars. Had a great time tonight which included amazing cocktails(Spicy Margherita), dinner(Nam Jam Haddock) and dessert(chocolate flourless cake)!! I need to eat gluten free and there were many options. Service was great, they didn’t rush us and we enjoyed a three hour dinner, where we could relax in an open atmosphere.
