Delightful little place. The kids got to put stuff on the pizzas themselves. Little swings for them to enjoy. Good service! Good and interesting food! Good time for all. The only thing I didn't like is that some was smoking outside and we could smell it inside.

Great ambiance, amazing service, super sweet and attentive server. The batata frita appetizers was real good, meatballs not great, pizza was super fresh and the fried cheesecake 😋 Is a MUST!

Balu has a great roof top, friendly atmosphere and great pizzas... Drinks, food, people, indoor swings for pictures and the kids to have fun... great overall

Loved the pizza. The crust was deliciously crispy and garlicky. The interior had quirky decor including functional swings. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the are a few things that I wish could improve. First, the neighborhood is a little run down. Second, the bathrooms are falling apart. When I went to lift the toilet lid the entire toilet seat fell to the ground. Third, it takes a long time for the pizzas to come out. We ordered 3 pizzas and the first one came out and then about 15 minutes passed before the second one came out and about another 15 minutes before the third one came out. It seems like they have limited oven space. Lastly, they were out of a few items on the menu. Regardless, I think the pizza was good enough to overlook the negatives.
