We ate twice for brunch at this restaurant each time we stayed at The Beaufort Inn.
The hotel gave breakfast voucher to use here and they serve a pretty good breakfast food
I always ordered the veggies omelette and my husband always get the 2 eggs breakfast and a meat, he opted for bacon.
The service was okay since this place always busy and the last time we ate there our server was manning the whole second floor so we know she did the best that she can to accommodate every table and our server often stop by to make sure we are doing good.
We recommend this place.

We came because it was listed as the best place around, but the food was either overdone (the biscuit tasted burnt and was hard as a rock) or was flavorless.

1st review: The food was great. The waitress was very nice and helpful! Clean and at home atmosphere. I loved everything about it!! Must try the biscuit and gravy also great sweet tea!! My husband loved the corn beef hash.
2nd review: I didn't think it was possible, but the food was even better today. My husband had shrimp and grits and said it's the best he's ever had.. That's saying a lot! I had to go back to the sausage gravy and biscuit. The waitress was super nice, no shock there because they all are from what I can tell. I want to thank the cook this time. They need to know that too are doing a great job! I will make sure I tell everyone about this place. My husband and I are up here for our sons graduation from the Marines. So far, this trip has been great. We thank Blackstone's Café for helping in this amazing adventure. God bless and Merry Christmas!! We'll see yall tomorrow lol

What a great spot!
Family Grad celebration brunch, so there were a few of us, but Ms. Kerry (sorry if it's Kary) handled the table well....

VEGGIE OMELET, HOME FRIES AND FRENCH TOAST was a winning combination!
The 3 PANCAKE BREAKFAST with a sausage was great!
The KIDS' FRENCH TOAST, which was 1 piece of toast... was more than enough for a 2 year old...
The KIDS' 3 PANCAKE breakfast was a gag!!!!! 3 little, i mean litttttttle silver dollar pancakes that my 2 yr old would have laughed me... you should have seen my 8 yr olds face lol....
We ended up ordering him regular pancakes because, omg!
As for me, i started with the CAJUN SHRIMP N GRITS... now it comes with chorizo, but i dnt eat meat, so im left to assume that's where all the flavor was because it was plain!!!!! I mean, it looked soooo good but had no flavor. 2 others ordered 1 with meat one without n the other w/o felt the same, but decided to push through. I, on the other hand, got a new dish. N Ms. Kerry had no issues changing it for me...
The OMELET FLORENTIN was sooooo good!!! The right amount of egg so it wasn't huge n didn't feel "poured" fresh ingredients u cld tasted the flavor no additional seasoning needed.
The space was cute college vibes with the decor, but no tvs or anything, so it doesn't give "hang out" or "pull up"
The service was fast didnt feel like we were waiting long, especially since there were 11 of us.
N in the age of overly decorated washrooms... this one was WHITE i mean so white and so clean i had to take a picture lol....

Loved it here! Staff was super friendly, and everything about it reminded me of small town diners in my hometown that have long gone. If I lived here I'd be at this joint regularly. Great prices and generous portions. Huge appreciation that they had gluten-free bread/toast available, and that their shrimp and grits were also GF.

The service was exceptional; very friendly and helpful staff. The food was mid; nothing to rave about. Unfortunately we didn't know that at 9 AM they ring a massive loud ship's bell and have everyone stand to say the Pledge of Allegiance. It is just. so. weird. If you have young kids or people on the autism spectrum in your family, avoid going at pledge time because it's loud and bizarre. I'll take my breakfast potatoes without a side of jingoism, thanks.
ETA, because the restaurant has left an unhinged response and apparently can't tolerate diners with a variety of opinions and experiences... the autistic people in our party were upset by the noise and unexpected behavior and it affected their enjoyment of the meal. PS we're veterans. Calm down babe.

Great, clean environment- they say the pledge every morning at 8am, servers are welcoming, friendly & helpful- especially with my kids.. Food is very flavorful- consistently!! Absolutely love their Brew Bar options as well- delicious!
