Blacksburg Wine Lab is one of my favorite places in Blacksburg! They have great wine flights and charcuterie boards. I also recommend the baked brie! During the weekdays, this place is my go-to for lunch special. It's definitely worth trying the french onion sandwich with today's soup. 😋 The price is very reasonable and you get to try great selection of wines. The staff is friendly too. Very unique concept and love the Cheese and Charcuterie board! Baked Brie was fantastic. You have to try both. Huge selection of wine, other alcoholic beverages were also available. I believe chef changes the menu often. Food was not your average bar food, you wouldn’t find it elsewhere. Everyone from our group loved their sandwiches and salads. I do wish there were more sandwich selections, six out of eleven people ordered Chipotle Turkey sandwich. Tomato soup had a good flavor but it was very thick, almost tasted like a fancy spaghetti sauce. No one was remotely interested in the tinned seafood which was a big section on their menu. I am curious how their sales in tinned seafood were. I am sure some of them are delicious and rare to find, but it just didn’t seem like a lunch item. I would try them if I was there with a friend to have a few glasses of wine. All and all, food was gourmet and affordable. I highly recommend this place. Any occasion, any season, always good. The atmosphere, friendly staff, and experience is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . The wine selection is AMAZING and their classic cocktails are awesome. Whether you are in the mood for some little dishes, large appetites, or just stopping in for a beverage they will not disappoint! Nice gem. I really liked my Charcuterie board. I would go back again just for that. My boyfriend and I reserved the sofa at the back , which was separated from the rest of dining by wine boxes lol.. kinda tacky, but they seem to be trying. I liked my waitress and we enjoyed the wine for sure- we had a tasting and then glasses of wine. The tinned seafood was not for me personally, and cold. The ambiance is more dressed up if you want ,but can still get away with casual for this town.
