Probably my 5th visit or so since the place opened last year, and I must say it's one of the rare eateries that knows how to maintain their quality. In fact, they improved it. How you say? Well, first month(s) of operation, one thing that definitely popped out was the sizes of their burgers were not that great keeping in aspect their prices. But now, the sizes are well justified. The flavors are great! Fresh baked buns, juicy patties, fresh add-ons. Haven't tried their milkshakes yet, but apparently, that's their best selling item(s) too.
If you're in Mall of Qatar and craving some good burger joint, do give them a try!

Old Fashioned Burger
We stopped by this restaurant for lunch today. We tried the baja chicken sandwich and the old fashioned burger. I also tried the sour twist mocktail.
The food was actually remarkably good. I ordered my burger mid-rare, though I was worried because many meat restaurants in Doha struggle with cooking meat to order. This burger was right on the money. Needed a bit more seasoning, but I was so impressed with the cook that I didn't mind. Fries were very nice as well. Husband raved about his chicken sandwich.
The one "gripe" we had was with the wait time. For whatever reason, we waited for over 30 minutes for our food, despite a table of four getting their food 10-15 minutes before us, though they ordered after us. The waiter was very nice, but not really sure what the kitchen staff were up to.

Exceptional Experience at Black Tap!
I had an amazing meal at Black Tap! The Mushroom Burger and wings were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while the Mac and Cheese was pure comfort food at its best. The Nutella shake was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Special shout-out to Rohnnie, the manager, and Elia, the host, for their outstanding service. They really added to our positive experience. Can't wait to return!
Finally a place we can have a burger with medium patty! Great taste, remarkable combinations (finally something more than just cheese ketchup tomato letuce), milkshakes available, and crazy milkshakes, too! Friendly staff, quick service. Would like to have some more fries too, but I absolutely recommend for us people who enjoy different taste combinations! Go for it!

Convenient location in the Mall Of Qatar Oasis.
Standouts: pear and bacon jam burger and kiwi lime mocktail. (No pics of the burger on my phone... Too busy eating!)
The old fashioned didn't really tickle my tastebuds though.
Chips also nice and crispy.

I recently visited the Black Tap location in Mall of Qatar with a friend. We ordered the chocolate shake and the ginger ale.
The chocolate shake was absolutely delicious. It was thick and creamy, with a rich chocolate flavor. The toppings were also amazing. We got the shake with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a brownie. The brownie was warm and gooey, and it added the perfect touch to the shake.
The ginger ale was also very good. It was refreshing and not too sweet. It was the perfect accompaniment to the chocolate shake.
The service at Black Tap was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He made sure that we had everything we needed, and he was happy to answer any questions we had.

New burger place at Mall of Qatar. The fried pickles were crispy, hot and fresh. The sauce was a nice compliment. The Mexican burger was tasty as were the onion rings. Fries were crisp.
The reason for my low rating is the drink prices. QR 26 for a water and QR 19 for a single serving of soda is ridiculous pricing. Shack shack across the food court is 12 with free refills, Cheesecake Factory next door is QR 16 with free refills.
Salah our server was prompt, courteous and did an outstanding job.
We will inquire about drink prices next time before are seating. Just not sure Buber, kid meal, and fried pickles is worth QR 177. If it doesn’t change we will go somewhere else.
