Black Stag Brewery is another great excuse to just hang out in Lawrence. Just an all around solid beer selection, food, atmosphere, and service. Looking forward to some summer nights on the patio with a nice cold one, my wife, and a few good friends. Buddy and I visited for lunch on Sunday. For the first hour, we were 2 of the 5 people there, and I'm pretty sure the other three were all employees, at least 2 were. Still took over a half hour for burger and fries and fish n chips. The burger was delicious. The fries were good, and the fish looked good. Unfortunately, the breading was so thick that the outside was good. The inside was raw. The fish was cooked through and delicious. The server was friendly and the atmosphere was great.
