Different drink options, the coffee was good, the food I ordered was unavailable or just ok, and the atmosphere was super nice except the seriously loud music they would play. I asked for them to lower it down a bit, especially as there were lots of people working/studying, and they did but later it got super loud again to the point everyone looked around wondering what was happening. Other than that they have lots of seats and chargers for people to work. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My husband and I finally got around to visiting after seeing this neighborhood cafe & we are so glad we did. We got the burger sliders & roast beef croissant sandwich to eat & an iced caramel macchiato and iced chai latte to drink. The sandwiches come with potato chips and pickles on the side, which was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. Both sandwiches were very good but my husband and I raved about the roast beef sandwich- very tasty! The drinks were perfectly sweetened, we didn’t have to add anything to them. Lastly, the location is beautiful ! I loved the coziness of the store, the art and the overall vibe. Support your local coffee shop, you won’t regret it! Great coffee shop. Workers are very friendly and the smile too.. 😂 😂 The food was great and the drinks were also nice. I am not a coffee person but my wife loved the place so it gets my vote 😆. Very cozy place to relax with friends and chat about life and such. Service Dine in Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Loved the atmosphere. It's a cozy coffee shop with a good selection of sweet and savory pastries. They have some sandwiches, too, which we'll try next time we come. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went here with a friend to study. I really like the art & the design of this cafe. We both got Chai Tea’s. Great study atmosphere in downtown silver spring! Strong Habesha (Ethiopian & Eritrean) community in this area. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice coffee shop, absolutely excellent coffee, but only (mostly sweet) pastries on the menu. I am not a morning sweet person, so that is not great for me; but the croisssants are first rate. The coffee makes up for it. I take it from the name that this is Ethiopian, a land with a deserved reputation for being the original source of all coffee and growing among the finest. Their baked goods are about $5+, but they were pretty good. When we went to look at the area with the cakes, they had about two left and it looked like it’s been sitting there for awhile. The place was overly crowded and it was difficult trying to find a spot to sit. When we did finally find a place to sit, a lady and her friend asked us to move over — which was annoying. The layout seemed a bit weird since you’re standing in line, but you want to be able to walk around and see what options there are, but then you’d lose your spot in line. Absolutely beautiful coffee shop in downtown silver spring. This space was long awaited and exceeded all my expectations. The coffee is great and the space is amazing for working. There is ample space, sunlight and outlets. There are many things on the menu I have yet to try, but am excited to continue exploring. The staff are also very friendly.

The interior of this cafe is like no other. It is so breathtaking that I saw numerous people who took videos and pictures. Their London Fog was one of the best drinks that I have ever had in my life, as the tea was so flavorful. Their bread pudding was on point, as well! Perfect combination of flakiness and richness. Very happy to have supported this local business. Definitely looking forward to trying their lava cake next time I visit :)
This location is very, very well appointed. I am disappointed with what I got today though. I got an egg and cheese sandwich and it was supremely greasy. The bacon was soggy and undercooked and the egg was oily. Croissants are already laden with butter because that is the nature of a good croissant. It would be good to pair that with a fluffy egg and crispy bacon. The beignets were freezing cold. The nature of beignets are to be a warm pop of deliciousness with a burst of flavor from the jelly. Plus when pastries are cold they absorb the jelly inserted within them and it congeals. Finally, always look at the opaqueness of the coffee before handing it to the customer. The Americano was almost transparent and had to have it remade. The cafe concept is fantastic, just change the food prep methods and you'll drive more food sales.
