There are only few restaurants in Dolfin Bay, Black Elephant is farang owned restaurant, I usually don't go to such places but I decided to try it. Honestly I didn't regret it as the beef steak was really excellent! So good that I came back the day after! I wanted to make a point about the service, one night it took only 10 minutes to be served, while the second night it took 60 minutes (that's f... long!). Netherveless that restaurant is a landmark in Dolfin Bay.

Very poor, we waited more than 1 hour for food then when it came it was not good at all salads were very salty and swimming in balsamic vinegar. When we complained they said we “need to stir it up more”. Fries also very salty. The spare ribs were huge and actually very good.
Several other tables complained about slow service.
The environment and layout is very good and close to the beach but let down by the slow service and poor food
It was our 2nd visit to Black Elephant as the first one was a good experience. We were excited and even brought our overseas guests here for dinner. When we stepped in, we noticed there were a few occupied tables and 2 tables partially served with food while the rest were waiting. One couple looked rather impatient and almost finished their drinks. No one served us as we enter, I had to go to the kitchen for the staff attention. After waiting for a while, we sensed that it's going to be a longgg night. No thanks. We had dinner elsewhere, My suggestion is to eat here if the restaurant is empty so that you can be 1/2 to 1 hr ahead of the rest. The food is good but the staff are not efficient and well trained to manage the crowd, that ruins the dining experience. I may still return for my pork shahslik IF the place is empty.

A restaurant with style and perfect food.
We know that fresh food needs time so we enjoy the atmosphere and music by a good drink.
It's a place for educated people the enjoy life and conversation.

⚠️ Call them to send you the menu via Line Message app or something and order waaaay in advance. Like I said the taste is good, but they are out of staffs. (Wondering why ppl are hoping jobs as if the economy is good...😶)
