Their chili, cornbread and house salad was really good. Service was wonderful and our waiter, Brandon, was really nice. Everything was clean as was the bathrooms. Plenty of parking and handicap accessible. Their coffee was really good as well. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend. I've been to the Lake Havasu location twice. The first time was good; it was not great, but good. This time today, disgusting. Having been a cook in a restaurant years ago, I would never serve what I wouldn't eat myself unless, of course, it was ordered that way. Today, I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. The eggs were absolutely disgusting. It's probably the worst I've been served at any restaurant. Did this cook look at these? Did the waitress not check her food before serving? I literally could not eat them. Due to the inconsistency, I can't recommend this place. Too many people failed. It's just disgusting. The food here is awesome! Ice cream shakes too! My favorite are the desserts Carrot cake, peach cobbler, Apple pie are all tied for first place ….the service is fast even when they are busy. I stopped here cause I was craving pancakes and I vaguely recall them having good one from a location I visited in Utah. They did not disappoint! The pancakes were humongous and tasted great. Also its worth noting that is seems others in town get their coffee from the same supplier which taste a lil funky, Black Bear must have their own because its great. Def will continue to rely on Black Bear Diner for their consistency across my travels. A locals favorite in Lake havasu. Nice menu, great selection of breakfast lunch and dinner items. The restaurant is very cozy, nicely decorated and clean. The service was superb as always. Diana was our server she was one of the best servers we ever had. Both my son and I ordered omelets with potatoes and a biscuit. The food was Amazing. Huge portions and was hot and the biscuits were fantastic! My coffee was never empty. We haven’t been out for a very long time and we choose Black Bear because they never disappoint. Not only did we enjoy our meals but were really were able to reconnect and talk and laugh. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I had the Hobo Joe's Omelet and it was Excellent. On another occasion I had the Bacon Cheeseburger and it excellent also. My adult son had the California Omelette which he thought was extremely good. I found a new favorite place to eat.
