I would’ve given black bear diner a much higher review had management been nicer. I had called before hand for my large party, and I thought I had reserved/ prepared their staff for us to come in. I came in and they told us no reservations. Which was fine and they were able to accommodate for that. But then management told us that we all had to pay from one single check. And we had told them that just wasn’t possible, as the check would’ve been 1000+ dollars. We came to a solution with that but overall management was unkind and rude. Only saving grace was Logan. He had provided excellent service, was able to spilt our checks per customer, and was extremely prompt. He did all of that while joking around with our group and being so kind and pleasant. He would be the reason to go back to this restaurant and he deserves the 5 stars, management would be the major reason I wouldn’t go back and management would only get a 1/2 star. Noah was the man, such a nice kid and he even rallied his team to sing my father-in-law a birthday song to celebrate! This is not an expectation for Black Bear Diner employees anymore and it was way too damn cool that he went the extra mile to do that. The crew was just a pleasure, fun, nice and food was great! Seriously, someone better read this, pass it to their district manager and give that team some kudos! You don’t get that kind of genuine kindness just anywhere!!!! Thank you Noah and team, way to set a great culture in your workplace and sharing your kindness with others!

Our expectations were pleasantly exceeded! I had a tasty, beautifully presented taco salad and my husband had shrimp and onion rings. We both were impressed.
