Ample and savory. Although took a minute to come out, worth the wait. Sausage patty has a little kick to it. Nice place for a family meal.

We are always trying new places, we have yet to find a place to call our favorite.
Service was actually ok, however... The prep time on food was not good.
The atmosphere is outstanding.
Food is good.
Price is amazing.
Time wise, it just took an hour and a half to get served, start to finish...
The All you can eat Friday night fish takes 25 minutes to refill.
The Babies loved the Breakfasts, my son loved the chicken and waffle.
Wife and I left hungry because of wait time on the "All we never got to eat fish".
We won't be returning.

I am always fair if and when I make a decision to write a review. I don't want to bore you with a long story but information is key. The food overall is a 4, why because you can get similar food at CrackerBarrel or other restaurants. The reason why I gave this restaurant a 1 star is because the service is horrible. The horrible service is brought to you by, Management. We arrived at location, placed our name on the waiting list, hostesses informed us it would be 20 to 25 minutes, and she was a sweetheart by the way. Twenty-five minutes later, nothing. We asked why such a long wait, she replied nothing available. I walked around the restaurant, 9 empty tables, different sizes to accommodate any size party. We asked for the manager, and asked the same question, no reply. 40 minutes later, and management doing their job, the waiting line started moving faster. I understand that sometimes you find an empty table because it is for a certain amount of people, and the waiting party doesn't match the table. But 9 tables, of different accommodating sizes, hmm, I think not. Well, overall service was mediocre, but only in management part, hostess, waiting staff, were great. Food was a 4.2, so I'm hoping management improves. I will give it another try and possibly change the grading.
Hostess was hilarious, and the waiter was attentive. There were flies in the dining area :(

First time eating there and my father and I had a great breakfast. Over all it was great and I will go again sometime I'm in McAllen. My only complaint is that I asked that my shredded hash browns be well done but they didn't do it. I had no time to send them back. It's my preference and most other breakfast places do this for me and others. I recommend this restaurant!
