It's a cute little ice cream parlor. Ice cream was good. Fruity pebbles really tasted like the cereal. The man behind the conner had no smile or customer of service did not greet us or ask if we had any questions. If it wasn't for my little one wanting ice cream, we would have probably left... Decent old school ice cream parlor. Could use a good scrubbing. Friendly staff and had a few dairy free sorbets. Ample free parking.

Cute ice cream shop. They make their own ice cream. They sell all flavors of salt water taffy as well. I had the pistachio almond ice cream but the flavor was really light. I wish it was a stronger profile. But it was nice and creamy. I would just try a different flavor.

Creamy and rich ice cream! Features novelty vintage displays of signs, soda, bottles, decorative trays. Also have fudge, taffy purses for sale.
We had stopped by on our way into town it was about 8pm. The lady behind the counter had her bf there and they were sitting at a table when we came in (nothing wrong with that) but as we walked over to where the Laffy taffy and the cool purses where the bf made a sarcastic comment about my "sexy" outfit. The girl said to him " what you don't want me to wear an outfit like that? He laughed and said mayne the pants but not the rest of it. I'm a very timid quiet person and was embarrassed they were talking about me so I didn't say anything but I was blown away by the rudeness, I wanted to just walk out without my ice cream but my husband seemed to not see what was going on so I thought I was over thinking things. Well when we when out to the car he came up to the counter to where the girl was standing and continued talking about me while looking back behind him laughing at me. I was just on the cold beach I was not as concerned about my outfit as apparently they were. Just a very rude experience and I regret spending money there. The Blue Moon flavor is soooo good. If you like Fruity Pebbles, you gotta try it out! (Try it as a shake too)
We come to Florence every few months and we love to get ice cream for our evening treat when we are in town. It is kind of a tradition we have made. Since the DQ is burned down we have been going to BJ’s. The ice cream is always good but the service is terrible every single time. They always have teenagers working which I think is great. However, every time my husband orders a shake, they roll their eyes and get all irritated to have to make it. We pay good money for the high prices that they have there and don’t appreciate the attitudes of the workers. There was a time we came in and the employee had her boyfriend in the lobby and was openly complaining to him about having to help us and another time the guy there rushed us and tried to get us to order faster because they were closing in 10 mins. It appears the DQ is being built back up so I guess we may have to take our business there while in town. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

This unassuming, luridly-colored, old ice cream parlor has the best ice cream I’ve eaten in my many travels. They make their own, and it shows in the quality of the food. It also allows them to stock some unusual flavors, including a few Oregon classics that have been discontinued by every other manufacturer I know. As such, this place is a must-visit anytime I’m in the area. Try the white licorice. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Recommended dishes Blackberry
The girl behind the counter was very friendly and kind. She was so sweet to our son and the shop liked clean Sadly when we walked in it smelled so strongly of cleaning solution it was overwhelming. It over powered any trace of sweet smell and clung to our clothes after we left. When we went to eat our fudge, the bag smelled like the cleaner and the fudge tasted like it on the top layer. The taffy was unaffected but that bag smelled faintly like it to. We will give it another shot next time through because it was a nice store, we're glad it was clean but sad it was so chemically that it ruined our treats. They just need to use WAY less cleaning solution Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

This was a very great place to get ice cream by the beach. The cashier person was very friendly and helpful. The Huckleberry ice cream and Oregon trail ice cream were very delicious. The Oregon trail was chocolate, cherries, and Hazel nut. The sour apple salt water taffy is very sour. The salt water taffy a little different from the stuff over at Newport but just as good. I don't normally go this south down the Oregon coast, but now I have a reason to.
