We met with Bittersweet and ordered a three tier cake for our wedding. They were great to work with and designed the cake perfectly. The day of we ended up asking them to deliver it a couple hours earlier than originally thought, and they were so flexible and kind about it! The cake itself was delicious, and our guests raved about it. We got snickerdoodle and champagne cake and oh my goodness! Usually couples have quite a bit of leftover cake after the wedding, but not us! Our guests loved it so much that we only had a few slices left. Highly recommend ordering a cake from Bittersweet for your event!

The birthday cake they made for my sons first birthday was PERFECT! It tasted as amazing as it looked. We also got some other little goodies when we picked the cake up, the brownie was THE BEST. Will definitely be back!

Very impressed with Bittersweet Bakery! Communication and submitting my order request was so easy. End results were bee-utiful! I was blown away when we opened the box to see the finished product. Not only did it look great, it tasted wonderful as well. I got the lemon and it was the perfect amount of sweet and tangy. Buttercream frosting was delicious as well. HIghly recommend! I almost missed getting a picture before it was cut, so the medallion was already moved...but as you can see, it still looks perfect.

Bought my little sister’s birthday cake from here and loved the whole experience. From ordering it on the website (super easy to do) to picking it up from this cute little bakery. When I tell you how CUTE this bakery is! The people working there were so nice. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do and appreciate their customers. The cake was beautiful and tasted delicious—just as good as it looks. We got the vanilla birthday sprinkle cake with purple drip. Can’t wait to try all the other flavors. My family and I will be getting all our cakes from here. For special occasions and for just because 😆 because who doesn’t want a random cake to eat for no reason at all?

Bittersweet Bakery and I go way back. They have flawlessly designed and created cakes and desserts for numerous special occasions in my life. An extreme amount of thought and care goes into every detail of the experience and product. You can tell that the owner and her staff truly care about their craft. If you are looking for a custom creation, a no brainer gift for a friend, or just a delectable treat for yourself this is the place to go.

Angel (the owner) is an absolute DREAM. Her and her team are SO nice and so creative and always create the most beautiful cakes for me. Not only are they pretty, but they're delicious too! The brownies and oven baked s'mores and flourless chocolate cake are also personal favorites of mine. There's no one else I would trust for a special occasion in my life.

We knew from our first step into their cute shop, we would be so happy to work with Bittersweet Bakery for our wedding cake and dessert table. Their design was exactly what we wanted and the cake was beautiful and tasted amazing, along with the cookies and brownies. I just wished we lived closer to this bakery, because we would definitely be repeat customers for every occasion.

We were told that this place was amazing. The curb appeal should definitely tell you how much detail goes into the actual cakes and cookies! The cookies have a light shell with a squishy center. So perfect and sooooooo buttery! The cakes are dense tasty sweet and yummy!! My favorite was the German chocolate cake. Have been coming here for years and it never changes.

This bakery is the BOMB. Wish I lived in Waxahachie just so I could make frequent visits. I had my sister in law pick up one of their birthday cakes to bring to my daughters bday in Keller. I asked for the drip color to be “Barbie” pink and they nailed it.

I ordered a small replica of our cake topper for our anniversary. It was brides cake flavor with raspberry compote filling and buttercream icing. When I tell you it was delicious, I mean it was DELICIOUS. I didn’t take any pics of the inside of the cake (wish I would have!), as it was so beautifully executed. When picking up my cake, it took all of my will power to not also get a cupcake from their display case. So many yummy options. And if I could have a candle in my house with the smell of this bakery, I’d have 10. I really didn’t want to leave! When you pick up your cake, they also give you a card w care instructions on it. This was very helpful. Ordering and communication was all through email, which was helpful and easy. I will most definitely order from them again! Thank you for a great experience, and a delicious cake.
