aside Customer Service so far Kakak counter is indeed nice to me so not much complaint about their service, just order n Go no dine-in👍🏻
11.10am : So 4 of us customers been waiting patiently at least 15 mins. Eyes glued to the half open shutter. Website says it's open from 11. Finally saw 1 customer arrive, pop her head under the shutter and ask about her order.
She was allowed in.
5 minutes later I called under the shutter asking when they were opening.
"Pukul sebelas setengah! Kami ni sibuk!" I said their website said its open now since 11am. But got the same reply as before.
Thanks for letting us know at 11.15, ya! All 4 of us potential customers left disgruntled.
During its heyday when lovely Datin Suhaimi actually made the kuey and cakes with the help of her Indonesian maids , the food was consistently delicious. Customers were always happy. Even in the last few years when prices shot up,when the nasi lemak wasn't nasi lemak anymore, when cupcakes shrunk and were often rubbery not buttery, customers stayed loyal.
There have been many complaints about the service and staff on the reviews page and fb.
But perhaps this isn't a once proud family-owned business any more. Perhaps that is why the rude and super slack staff are still the face of a once-gracious business . It is a sad testimony to a gentle, kind and hardworking lady.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ESPECIALLY THE KAKAK WHO IS INCHARGE OF TAKING CAKE ORDERS. 1st order was made on 9th Feb 2021 for 11th Feb 2021. Reconfirm with the kakak on the 10th, she promised me with the cake. On 11th 1 hour before cake collection, she called me telling me that the cake was booked by earlier customer none left for me and told me that I should have order few days prior to the event. I still can accept the disappointment that day. And 2nd order was made on 5th June 2021 for 16th June 2021 which is 11 DAYS EARLIER!!! the same kakak request for my order details and I keep getting blueticks from her without any responses. I told her I dont want to get disappointed twice but still getting ONLY BLUETICKS!!!!! Kejam gila, org mau tolong bisnes tapi layan customer macam ni pula. Semoga sukses la okay? *NOT RECOMMENDED*
Bits and Bites could have easily earned 5 stars from me if it wasn’t for the rude treatment I received from one of the workers - and this isn’t the first time. Yes, the kueh - kueh are all delicious and a must-try but bad customer service can quickly make a person lose their appetite.
