Bistro Provenance - the food is the star here. The overall experience is mixed. First, the food. French Onion Soup is excellent. Hearty, rich, dark broth. Teeming in sweet onions. I’d gone in thinking I would get the Steak Frites but then I saw Duck a la’Range and knew I had to get that. It was lovely. Duck was cooked perfectly rare with a crackling top. The polenta soaked up the accompanying sauce and made for a tasty bite that coated the taste buds in goodness. The micro greens and orange slices complimented each other beautifully. A delightful meal. The restaurant itself is nice enough.Liked the open kitchen views. Live piano music was nice. Service was perfunctory but lacked overall. I couldn’t tell if they were going for their idea of stereotypical Parisian cafe aloofness or trying to be Utah County friendly. It was a weird mix that just made it feel a bit off. The staff was great and the atmosphere was fun, but both could not make up for the food. I ordered the duck à l'orange. The duck was undercooked and severely under seasoned. Polenta was fine. Sauce was ok. My wife got the Croque Madame. It was way too salty, to the point it was inedible. The truffle fries were great. Too expensive for the quality. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, though the music was initially too loud for comfortable conversation, especially for those who are hard of hearing. However, the staff promptly adjusted the volume upon our request. I've visited this restaurant multiple times and have consistently been impressed by the execution and presentation of their dishes. The unique flavor combinations are balanced and satisfying, never overly rich or sweet. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of food and service provided. We came here for Valentine's Day and we were just blown away by the service, the atmosphere, and the incredible food! While the set menu was delicious and for Valentine's Day only, we were a little surprised that no communication was made about the menu change since we had a reservation. None the less, we will have to come back to try their french onion soup and duck another day. Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
To say I am blown away is not enough! My husband and I travel a lot. A lot a lot! This is by far the best food for the price we have had in Utah. We are blown away by the environment, the food, and the entire experience! This is an 11/10 without a doubt Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I went today very excited cause it was the first time, but I did expect what happened first they said they opened at 11 am, but they open at 11:10, second one the cooked it was a woman she was speaking Spanish and she was speaking aloud about a personal situation, third I ordered chicken and my partner too, but the waiters said that they have 1 chicken 1/2 chicken, my partner said ok I change the menu, later the waiters came with a salad my gosh🤣 terrible, now the best part😡 the chicken was not cooked well, I decided the I don’t want eat the chicken the waiter said we can put in the oven again, and I said really? No thanks, I was very respectful of it is another it will be another story, we paid my partner food and abandon the place, I felt so bad and frustrated cause I was very happy. Be careful if you go. We had reservations at 5:45. It was a very cold wintry night, which wound up into a snow storm. We sat down and ordered a drink. With us having made reservations, and they knew all our information I feel like we should’ve been notified of the heat shutting down. It was so cold, and the waitress said that the heat was broken. If you look online at the food presentation, it is nothing like that when you receive it. The main reason I wanted to go there was for the online posting of the French onion soup it was not prepared as it was showed online didn’t have any cheese on top of the soup just a couple of pieces of bread. I was very disappointed as it was the thing I was looking forward to. I will never go there again I feel like it was extremely misrepresented. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
