We had two fabulous dinners here. The food is delicious and the service is first rate. The staff here are very friendly and attentive. For our first visit we ordered two different set menu options. The soup in both was off the charts delicious: someone in that kitchen puts a lot of love into their broth! Their grilled duck in lemongrass and their grilled shrimps with chilis and lemongrass are both outstanding. All the other dishes on the set menus are very good as well. The price for this dinner (no wine or cocktails) was VND 735,000 (CDN $40). For our second visit we treated ourselves to their cheese platter and their charcuterie board - along with a lovely bottle of Stellenbosch Merlot (it was Christmas so we treated ourselves). The cheese platter was lovely, with particular kudos to the blue cheese and the goat cheese. Accompanied by their outstanding bread and butter this would probably have been a meal in itself. But we indulged with a charcuterie board, and were pleasantly surprised with both the quality and quantity of the meats. To be honest there was too much food for two people, but it was Christmas and there was wine (and limitless delicious bread and butter) so we persevered and ate it all! Delicious. Price for this fabulous meal: VND 1,350,000 (CDN $75) Highly recommended. Good food, however our sides arrived after we finished our main course. Otherwise the service was very nice and friendly. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ₫600,000–700,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Frühlingsrolle

I have the opportunity to chat with the owner of this restaurant, and learnt about his hardship of keeping his business going during the Pandemic. I think he has made some key decisions rightly, which is the very reason why I truly enjoy the service and food provided tonight; he kept his staff during his most difficult period. This is an admirable act, and perhaps of this, his staff put up an exceptional performance in both the preparation of the food and the way the staff interacted with their customers. The owner has the heartware of his staff, and I will always come back to dine here to celebrate these achievements. The service staff was attentive, quick to serve, and understood our needs at the table. The food is flavourful. Already the bread and butter were better than the hotel we stayed the night before. I highly recommend that you dine here when you are in Hue. For these, I unreservedly am giving 5 Stars to this restaurant; 2 for service and 2 for food, and an additional Star for the way he treated his staff. This is a business with an heart.

The restaurant looked pretty professional, and many people. We had to wait 5-10 minutes to get a table when we arrived at 19.30 pm on a Thursday in low season. Free bread with butter as an appetizer. Many choices on the menu, and they were all written in French as well. The food was okey, but nothing special. We thought our chicken were a bit dry, but the banana shake was really good and even made with real bananas. Nice employees and service. But would expect more from the food. I have heard good things about the food they serve, so maybe we were unlucky and ordered the wrong dishes. 🤷‍♀️ Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
A friendly, lively restaurant with French vibes. The menu offers authentic French dishes, Italian and Vietnamese. I had the grilled prawns and avocado salad which was delicious and a generous portion. The second time I had the prawns with lemongrass and chilli dish: lacking sauce and kick but amazing fresh prawns. My husband, who doesn't eat seafood or fish, loves french food but was rather disappointed:had fairly bland food the first night with goat cheese salad, lacking dressing and rather heavy homemade saucisses with mustard. The second time he had a mushroom pancake, really tasteless. The cheese plate was really so-so The wine choices are very good, but the staff should be more educated as they didn't understand the concept of " corked wine" when we tried the Dalat wine. We feel we overpaid for what we got: I would have preferred to pay the same but have much tastier food, having travelled for weeks in Asia. What a fabulous find in Hue and the best food so far! Charming French owner and beautiful Vietnamese family understanding customer service to perfection in a charming setting. We will be back!
Had the fried calamari and the blanquette de veu. Calamari was great, but the veal was possibly the worst I've ever had in my life. Watery, no flavour, very tough meat, flavourless. Probably should've stuck to Vietnamese food while in Vietnam, but, given the history, assumed french food would be good too. Not the case. Don't order the blanquette! Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
After a couple of days in the north of Vietnam which is more meat oriented we wanted to have some good seafood, so we went for the "Imperial Menu". The menu had a delicious fish soup as a starter, followed by spring rolls, calamari, squid, tuna as a main and crepe with ice cream as dessert. To put in just one word ~ it was yummy 😋
