Just moved into the area and trying to find smaller dine in restaurants. I came across Bill's Grill. It's an awesome little diner that has breakfast lunch and dinner. Food was surprisingly good! Burger was made perfect, wife had chicken fried steak which was also perfect. I will recommend this place to anyone! Friendly staff, not busy when we went, fast service. The food is good. It's what you would expect, from a Dinner. It's small, But the atmosphere is very comfortable. The service there, It's friendly, And assisting. ( If you need it.) It's kind of a place where veterans go, After they've left the VA, ( Due to the hospital being right across the street.) But you will also find regular folks there too. All in all. Great little diner across from the Temple VA. Fortunately, I had time to stop in for Brkfast b4 appt. I ate tastiest/fastest western omelette/hash-browns.I LOVED the staff; every single one of em behaved like I was a guest in their kitchen.Truly a gem. Recently ordered a take out order-Philly cheese steak, large main chef salad-generous portions. Still the same great experience. The food was very well prepared and came out hot and much faster than expected. The ribeye was tender and cooked at a perfect medium (wasn't mine but got to try it) and the country ham practically melted in my mouth. Our server was very friendly and we got some good laughs too. It had a nice atmosphere, and the food was good. I had a cobb salad I think it was, it was a good value. The other person in my party had breakfast, she said it's always good at 2:00 in in the afternoon. I definitely want to go back sometime. The service was good.
