First time trying this place out and was pleased with the turkey sub I ordered... It's a nice little place with a variety of fast foods...They have subs, hot dogs, salads, burgers and gyros, etc... A lady behind the counter took my order and she was very sweet... My sub cost about $10 bucks for the foot long and the quality of it was very good... I ordered to go. Food was reasonably priced. Baked potatoes was good, although their French fries were extremely good. My to go order was ready in record time, just as fast as any fast food resteraunt. I will be back. I made a simple order. Gyro and fries. From the very beginning when I made my order, I made it perfectly clear that lettuce does not belong on a gyro. Lettuce is not put on a Gyro in Greektown in Chicago, Detroit, anywhere. What do you think I had on it when I got back to my hotel across the street? LETTUCE!!! There was zero cucumber sauce and extra lettuce. If you want an authentic Mediterranean gyro, do not go here! Casual environment with seriously delicious food. Don't have to wait long at all (fast services). (We were so hungry that we ate half way through before remembering to take pictures. Sorry!) What a great local eatery! The portions and prices are perfect. I've been trying to lose weight, so I have been testing all the salads in the area (I'm on a work trip from out of town). Bill and Ruth have won me over. Expect to see me every day that I am here. I ordered the chefs salad with avocado. The chicken was fresh and delicious. The bacon was out of this world. The weight of my salad was easily a $17 salad from Red Robin or similar dinners. Great value fresher food local people. Do I need to say more?
