One does not easily find restaurants which offer a vegetarian option on the menu in Portugal. This restaurant has 3 ! I took the risotto with mushrooms. Very recommendable.

Very mixed. Chips on glass and plates. Also had a fly in the salad and over-salted pork. Good octopus. There is a smell from the toilet inside. Fast service and overpriced in my opinion. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
Great restaurant for the food festivals of the city. Thos week was the week of the traditional cod fish or as we call it bacalhau. The food is always amazing. The restaurant has a great casual and romantic atmosphere. The food is good quality. Its not for everyones pocket but it is a good quality/price ratio. The staff is very professional and friendly at the same time. Ive been dining here for the last 15 years and it is getting better every year. Its located in the towns heart near the casino and bars. Photos attached are vegetarian Fettuccine with mushrooms and pesto and the other one is bacalhau a Brás which is traditional, fried cod fish with scrambled egg and thin strips of chips. I had a late lunch here as many other restaurants are close for siesta . While this was not my first choice, the food turned out to be amazing. the potatoes were to die for and the sauce was super yummy. For a pretty fancy place , the prices are very reasonable. Glass of wine at only two euros. Steak was 16€

Had a fantastic meal on Sunday night here. I ordered the black pork and my wife had the grilled octopus. We were not disappointed. Everything was prepared perfectly and very delicious. The waiter was very attentive and made sure we had all we needed. Will be sure to come back again! Obrigada 👍🏻 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
I was at lunch and only ordered the fish soup. There were not lot of people at 3pm. The soup was fine but the service is very long. So if you have limited time to eat out, I don't recommend it there. Also keep in mind that the menu on the website is old and the prices are slightly different from the actual prices. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €1–5 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
Good service. This was our first time trying the Francesinha in Portugal. It was delicious and probably one of the top food finds on this trip. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–25

Had a formidable experience in this restaurant. Food: Well cooked, very tasty and the proportions shouldn't leave you hungry. I can speak for the "Polvo à Peixeira", which is accompanied with a locally produced rice with good texture, and tasty sauce. The octopus was quite tender, and no so "rubbery" as it tends to get in restaurants. On the "Francesinha", I only tried the potatoes, which are not the traditional french fries style, but thicker slices, which, in my opinion, are even better, both in taste and to absorb the sauce. The steak was well cooked according to what I heard, and overall it was very tasty too. Most of the deserts come in "jars" which I found gave them a nice look, and above average proportions. A cheesecake with Oreo, a chocolate mousse and a caramel with different kinds of nuts and chocolate were ordered, and no complaints there. Not being a wine expert, I'd say the green wine of the house had a pleasant flavor and went quite well with the octopus too. The inner part of the restaurant has a calm and cozy environment. The price/quality ratio is very agreeable and we got our money worth. Last but definitely not least, we had someone who had their birthday that day, and all the crew, including the owner, had the initiative to join in singing happy birthday. It was a kind, unrequested and simple gesture which certainly topped things off. I really can't find any reasons to drop a single star from my evaluation and will definitely come again in the future. Highly Recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
There are a lot of restaurants in this area, but I ended up in this one. They have a big 'Marisco' sign outside, but the seafood inside is like frozen, orange cardboard. Do yourself a favor, don't come here, and tell everyone to avoid it. You are welcome. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
