A week ago

We went there to get coffee I ordered a scone that looked like it was molded. Coffee was good but I feel a bit sick after eating only a bit of the scone. My thought is that they may not sell too many of them and don’t throw them out. In any case, word of caution, don’t buy the scones. I don’t go there often, therefore this may be an isolated incident, nevertheless I thought I should say something.

Beautiful and cute indoor and outdoor seating, spacious outdoor area. Nice staff, good selection of breakfast, lunch and drinks. Free internet. Cons: only one bathroom (probably enough considering the size of the cafe, but adding outdoor seating too, it would be a problem!), the storage type of situation at the end of the store was not very pleasant Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This cafe is quite possibly the easiest to get to- in terms of accessibility in the down town area, Has limited indoor/outdoor seating. They used to have menus- but i didn't find any on a recent visit. A small single cup of coffee is ~$5. Refills thereafter are $1. Service/cashier is not very great (coffee is just pour over -self service anyway- and was lukewarm). Staff took up one of the desks in a corner- which could have been provided to paying guests instead. Inside seating is quite cramped. The prices appear to have increased quite a bit- since the starbucks across the street appears to have closed, and there are few other easily accessible cafes. Views from outdoor seating are great- and in summer- the sidewalks are converted to an extension of the cafe- so they have more seating then.
