One of my favourite restaurants in the area. I have spent many slow afternoons here since my first visit in 2012. I like to go in for a late lunch, order a large meal and consume numerous cool drinks during the heat of the day. Service is great, seafood is fresh and cooked perfectly, and the staff are extremely friendly.
The only downside is that there has been an influx of westerners with unrealistic expectations visiting the area in the last few years since the large overpriced resorts set up. (Although it is nice to have access to banks and ATMs after you arrive in the Thandwe region, instead of having to carry a wad of cash from Yangon with you everywhere)
amazing seafood place. came to this place 5 yrs ago and again now. food still tastes amazingly delicious! the owner is very friendly and cater to our custom dish orders!
I miss this restaurant. I visit regularly when I am in the area, although it is hard to tell when I can go back now with the new military coup. I hope you guys are safe!
I ordered Fried Rice. Told them NO FISH, NO EGG.. VEGETARIAN... Only fried rice. They brought me rice with egg and onions, i said: please no egg, no onion. One woman shouted at me. I tried to talk to her. She was really angry and said (nearly screamd:) It is your fault!
