I've heard so much about this place! My expectations were met with the quality and definitely the quantity of food received. I ordered the Seafood Platter - half shrimp and half oysters. I was pleased and definitely will return. I was NOT disappointed - weather was bad and I had driven over from Gautier, so I pulled into a gas station and enjoyed my meal. I was looking so hard that I missed the building. If you're heading West, slow down when you see Elliott Homes on the right; they are right next to them. If you're not really sure where it's located, you'll pass them right up. Parking is kind of different. It's more like, get in where you fit in. 😂 My only draw back was, the young lady at the window wasn't pretty friendly. I was going to order something else, but after I felt rushed, I went with what I knew I wanted for sure. She handed me the little beeper to let me know when my food was ready (I appreciated this feature). *** If you find my review or pictures were helpful, drop me $1 in my cash app - $kdma1023 Thanks - have a fabulous day. 😘

Food was not to my liking. Everything was sweet and not seasoned. Fried fish and shrimp were even sweet. The only plus is you get a lot of food for your $$$

I always enjoy getting a good meal from Ben’s Deli. We have always eaten here for as long as I can remember and never had a bad experience. Just remember to bring cash only and they take very good care of you. The food is always worth the wait, best things are poboys, fried rice and the seafood platters, there is always enough food in each of those things to feed at least 3 people. I always recommend it. *warning* Cash Only / no frills (order at window - eat at picnic tables) First time - fried Seafood platter : shrimp fish oysters stuffed crab fries hush puppies potato salad burger bun. Will be eating the 2nd half for dinner. You get a lot. A lot.
We were in town on a Monday night and decided to get the seafood platter, shrimp po-boy, fried oyster poboy, and combination rice. Food was AWESOME!! However the lady at the window was not very nice at all. Ruined the whole experience for me. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
PLEASE KNOW before you go, this place is CASH only, no cards. Had the fish po’ boy. It was fine… not terrible, not amazing, but fine. If you’re in the mood for a local fried fish sandwich, I’d recommend Snappers Seafood more.
The absolute BEST FRIED RICE on the coast. I make the drive just for the combination fried rice. If you like fish and shrimp, order the plate. It's enough to share for at least two. Word of caution, it's cash only, so leave the plastic at home or hit the ATM. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes Shrimp PO’Boy

Ben's Deli, by far has the BEST SHRIMP POYBOY'S ON THE COAST. I've been coming here for over a decade, never had a bad meal. The shrimp overflows the sandwich. Excellent prices, QUICK service. I'll be back....

Heard so much about this place and while it was indeed good, it wasn't great. They shut the inside during the great Virus scare of 2021 and never reopened it. Prices are acceptable for what you get. The outside tables have a great view of the restrooms and dumpster. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
