I don't review restaurants much but I feel compelled to after the quality of the service we received for our dinner at Bellini this week. We'd ordered mushroom ravioli & they forgot to put the mushroom ravioli. We were pretty hungry so didn't care much at the time & enjoyed it (I got the fish special which was pretty good too). While getting the takeout box for leftovers, we pointed out that it was missing mushrooms. On hearing that, the server (owner?) had the kitchen prepare us a full mushroom ravioli. Moreover, we got a full container of soup to go with it! This was, in full honesty, the best pasta dish i have ever had. I got the Fettuccine that had the white wine, shrimp, and scallops. My mom had the chicken marsala and enjoyed it just the same! Everything was cooked beautifully and the flavor was absolutely phenomenal! I had the Fettuccine Mar Monte and my boyfriend had the chicken Marsala. Glass of wine each, the Caesar salad, dessert and decaf macchiatos. Nearly all of it was amazing (the lava cake lacked a molten center - but that was my only complaint). Service is excellent - on a weekday I think it is the owner waiting on us. The murals on the walls add to the lovely atmosphere. It is small, cozy, great casual date night. Great food and great service. I have hired them for catering, in person family events, and a business lunch. My favorite time is during the early evening when I can relax on the patio.
