Extremely disappointing...... Their was 7 of us total, ordered basic easy dishes ( enchiladas, burritos, tacos, and a pasta poblano( super awful) ) Tacos crumbled to pieces in your hand without even taking a bite, cheese was not melted in enchiladas, absolutely zero flavor, and food was Luke warm. Salsa, which was a watery paste with again, no flavor, was served out of a pitcher and chips were grabbed barehanded by employees. We were put into a separate room where other bigger tables were. Seemed like a storage area. We had just gotten our food when different staff members and servers were talking amongst themselves, rolling silverware, and counting there money on the table directly behind us making us feel uncomfortable and rushed to leave. Service was given by a long haired guy with a manager tag on and another younger girl which left us confused as who we direct our basic needs to. Kept having to put the highchair bar where babies legs go back in place because it kept coming out of the stripped hole it was in, wobbly tables, just an overall bad experience. Won't be returning, left hungry ( even after paying $120 for the 3 of us that were on the ticket). Would have been more satisfied with one of the cheaper, drive thru Mexican joints here in town for sure. Do not waste your time or $$$. Not worth it. Meh! I’ve had better… I ordered a cheese quesadilla. It was a warm tortilla with melted cheese. I think they cooked it in a microwave! It needs to be somewhat browned and crispy on the tortilla, come on!! AND you charge what for it!? 😱 Also, ordered guacamole fresco. Very good flavor and they do prepare it at your table. It wasn’t served with additional tortilla chips. What!? The complimentary chips they serve when you’re seated, is all we got. Inside seating, is a very noisy environment! The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Ask for the jalapeño salsa with your chips, it’s got some good heat! Wonderful kindness and service! After being turned away at another Mexican restaurant in Layton (before closing time), we were worried about finding a good Mexican restaurant to eat so late. We quickly drove to Bella’s arriving at closing time. They were so very kind. Told us that they would still seat us and quickly served us the most delicious dinner. I have never disappointed here. Thank you! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Enchiladas

I had the chicken enchiladas and they were able to make them gluten free. They have a lot of gluten free options. The food was bland. The salsa isn’t flavored and tastes like tomato sauce. I’ve tried the seafood salad before and that was better. But overall it’s not the best food. I much prefer Orlando’s in Kaysville Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Our family had the worst experience at Bella’s while celebrating my older sister’s birthday back in July. Bella’s is her favorite restaurant, although I don’t know why. My younger sister had called Bella’s weeks in advance and without any issues reserved the banquet room for about 20-22 people @ 6:00. She then sent the invites out. A few days later, she called to add 3 or 4 more people. The man she spoke to the second time, that we assumed to be an owner or manager, quickly became rude and belligerent with her. He went off on a rant for several minutes saying how this reservation should never have been made at 6:00 and that he was now going to have to turn people away because there was no room. Hello?!!! Are we not paying customers too?! She finally had to jump in and ask if this was going to work or not. He angrily agreed and hung up. How was any of this her fault? There were no problems the first time she called to schedule. Maybe there should be better communication with their staff when scheduling large parties. Once we arrived, our waiter was excellent and most of the staff were very friendly. However, while my sister and I were hanging up a couple birthday banners, a woman came in and scolded us for hanging one of the banners on a wall with tape. We would have been more than happy to move it without being snapped at by this lady. My sister sent an email to the restaurant shortly after our visit and as of today, she still hasn’t gotten a response. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first unpleasant experience we’ve had at Bella’s. I, along with some other family members have been to Bella’s several times. And each time we visited; the food was not very good. Why did we keep coming back you ask? Because my husband’s employer kept giving him Bella’s gift certificates. I seriously don’t understand why some people like this place. The food is really fresh and delicious and cooked perfectly! There were 8 of us and we all enjoyed what we ordered. The portions are large and the prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get and the quality of the food. The server was friendly and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. I would definitely eat here again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My experience at Bella's Fresh Mexican Grill was nothing short of a disaster. To start, they served us Mexi wings that seemed to have been reheated from frozen. As we bit into them, we discovered they were still frozen and raw in the middle. I had explicitly mentioned that I was pregnant, which made this situation even more horrifying. Despite the unappetizing start, we politely returned the dish and requested that it be properly cooked. However, the nightmare continued when they served me a medium-rare New York strip and shrimp, completely ignoring my request for a well-done steak due to my pregnancy. This was the only special request I had made, and they failed miserably on both the initial dishes, which were clearly undercooked or raw. The only saving grace was the chicken enchiladas, but even those couldn't make up for the disaster. Adding to our frustration, they served the steak without a knife, and we waited a good 10 minutes for a server to attend to us, waving for assistance to no avail. The entire experience was nightmarish. Even after complaining about all these issues, the server's response was lackluster. They offered a discount on the wings but still charged us for the poorly prepared steak. Serving raw food to a pregnant woman, despite several reminders, is absolutely unacceptable. I felt sick even as I wrote this review. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Yummy! This was my first time here, and will not be my last. I’ve driven by here hundreds of times on I-15 and finally decided to stop and take this detour. My favorite was the guacamole fresco. It was delicious! Every time I try out a New Mexican restaurant I order the same thing of a chicken enchilada. The chicken enchilada here hit the spot. My husband enjoyed his salmon salad. The staff was very friendly. The price was so reasonable! I was especially happy with the kids menu prices. On Saturday, our party of five arrived at 11:30am and only one other group of three was seated. By 12:30pm a good number of tables were taken. This is a more modest-priced Mexican restaurant than most others. Since complimentary chips and salsa can no longer be expected at some Mexican restaurants, we were happy to receive it here. I believe two different plain red salsas and a "spicy" green salsa are available. This food is mild, not spicy at all to our two spicy food fans, and generic Mexican but the rice and beans are good. After we arrived a party of five came in that was going to have even more people joining them. As we were leaving a large group entered. Seems to be a popular gathering place. Good menu with many choices and some American entrees. Children's menu is available. Waitress was busy but brought us everything we needed. This restaurant was affordable, good if you don't expect specialty Mexican food, great service --- from the number of customers, people like what Bella's offers. This is just a fun place to dine. It is in no way an authentic Mexican restaurant. It is very much an americanized Mexican restaurant. The food is good, but the service and atmosphere is great! Katy was an amazing server that genuinely seemed happy to serve me. I thought I might have just got the lucky straw by having her as my server, but as I looked around I noticed many happy faces. The restaurant was crowded and busy. I am sure all the staff had plenty to deal with, but they all seem to enjoy what they do. The owners of the establishment should be very proud of their staff.
