Very nice environment (next to the harbour), very delicious food (we had lapas and spaghetti with lobster and prawns), very generous amount of prawns and lobster ( we shared them as the starter and main meal). The service is superlative! Highly recommended. Price per person €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very professional well run place and friendly people, excellent choice of craft beer as well as lots of other drinks. Didn’t eat here but the meals looked great. Lovely views of the harbour and Funchal across the water. Definitely recommended. Price per person €10–15 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Beer Tasting

We had drinks here on a couple of occasions. Overall great service and really cool views from the outdoor seating area. Beers could have been better, especially at this pricepoint. And local drinks like poncha are also generally nicer at the various bars in the town. However, for the views you get and the different atmosphere, this place is definitely worth going to. Just know that you'll have to pay a bit more and occasionally the quality won't be as good as what you might get in other bars. Price per person €10–15 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Beer Tasting
Nous nous sommes arrêtés ici pour faire la dégustation de bière, endroit sympa avec une belle vue sur le port. Le service pourrait être plus amical mais sinon c'était bien. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Great selection of craft beer by the sea. They have a great variety and provide a very helpful guide with what to expect from each: sweetness, bitterness, notes, etc. If in doubt, just order a "Beer Tasking" which comes with 5 assorted beers for you to try. Price per person €10–15 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Great place to have a beer tasting experience and enjoy the local beef Espetada with a wonderful ocean view.
Visited on several occasions whilst on cruise. Great selection of beers and great location, if a little pricey. Beer tastes very good. On more than one occasion I feel staff seem aloof and are not keen on English visitors probably due to what appear to be German origins. Price per person €10–15 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Beer Tasting
Went in only for beer. Staff is helpful, but seems bit too stiff. But I guess it is just me as I am not table sitter Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
This is a super cool place to enjoy a beer or eat. Its in a prominent position on the port, and the outside drinking area has a distinct Ibiza feel about it, with comfortable and relaxing places to sit and enjoy a drink. Food is served, and it’s pretty good too, but there is no pressure to eat. We were made very welcome when we arrived and simply asked for a couple of drinks. As it happens, we did decide to eat there and in fact, if we hadn’t a plane to catch could easily have withered away the entire afternoon. My wife had the beef on skewer and it was amazing. I ordered the lamb cutlets and they were only okay - hence the 4 stars rather than 5. Given its proximity to the port, i imagine there are time when its heaving with people stretching their legs off the cruises, although the day I was there it was only half full and very easy going.

It's in the middle of marina bay with great view of the city. Great food and plenty of different beers to order. Tuna steak is perfect! Also try their Bolo do caco (garlic bread). It's little pricy, main food is around 15€ and sides are around 5€ but we found similar prices in a lot of different places in Funchal that were not that great. Price per person €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Craft Beer
