Cute bar with tasty cheese and good house wine! We wish the cute loft wasn't for smokers because we really liked sitting up there until neighboring tables started smoking. Since the only non-smoking area is sandwiched between two smoking areas, it's pretty unavoidable once it gets busy. This doesn't seem to be an issue for most locals, but isn't very nice for us non-smokers.
Great experience! The owner was really welcoming, the food was good and the ambiance was cozy. Exactly what you are looking for, for a late night romantic drink in Europe. A real hidden gem!
Good food. Tapas bar/restaurant/bar. Cosy place. Recommend the cheese board.. Yum yum.. Open till 2am. Hard to spot as its hidden gem.. Friendly staff. Near main street and all bars and coffee shops.. Just off main street so parking a bit complicated. Outdoor and indoor seating. Rustic feel. Nice and young environment. Must visit place!
Awful rude staff. Do not come if a tourist. They DO NOT accept debit/credit cards or contactless. They also do not let you see the place until you order. Just avoid.
First thing I’ve started when arrived the place is to ask if credit card is accepted. I truly experienced that foreign visitors are discriminated because they don’t have that local Portuguese card (talking about Visa and MasterCard), that the place accepts. Let me add that at arrival they confirmed that my MasterCard is fine. Surprise surprise, upon bill paying they asked me to go to the ATM, because surprisingly their POS machine doesn’t accept my previously approved MasterCard. Shame, the staff didn’t even offer ANY compensation. Maybe cool place for locals, but rip off for tourist.
