The family and I went out for lunch and it was amazing! My fiancé ordered the lamb curry and I ordered the steak house burger. We also got the artichoke dip. 100000/10 everything was sooo delicious. The atmosphere was very chill and I loved the throwback music they were playing. The servers were super sweet and friendly. Will definitely have to visit again.

Decided to give this place a try this past Sunday night and overall was highly disappointed. I arrive earlier then the other person in my party and thought great I'll go in and get a drink while I waited. 30 minutes passed before the server came and took our drink order as now my guest had arrived as well. My drink was pretty delicious however got it 45 minutes after entering the restaurant. (When I entered there was only 2 other tables sat in the whole restaurant). Now on to the food ordered Calamari and the Spinach and Feta dip. Both were okay, nothing to great nor nothing to wrong. We proceeded to have to wave our server down to place or dinner order. We ordered Steak and Lamb Chops and for the upscale price these were both below sup par. I come from the service industry and took a few days for me to decide to post as I would really like to see this place to succeed but they really have work to do in the service category and the food quality to match the price. Hoping for the best!

We’re locals around the area and wanted to try this place out since it was a new restaurant that just opened. It was a bestie date night! When walking up to the door we were greeted and our door was opened for us. It took awhile for a waitress to come by to ask if we wanted drinks or any apps and once she did get our order everything came out super slow in which we thought was starting to get weird since there wasn’t anyone but one other party that was there. It took a good 15 mins! The drinks were delicious. I had the Minnesota Mule and my best friend had gotten the BB Dark & Stormy. We also ordered calamari and the Jamaican beef patty, the beef patty was NOT a Jamaican beef patty. It was more of a pastry with a little bit of ground beef in them. Now when our main dishes came out! 😫🤢 I honestly am still so disappointed. This place has a very upscale priced menu so you’d think the prices would match what you’re paying for….. NOPE not one bit! First my order came to the table wrg. I order there Scallops and Shrimp entree with black beans and rice and mashed potatoes. I was brought out Scallops and Shrimp with the black beans and rice but asparagus. My first bite of my shrimp tasted like it was cooked in propane with a smokey smell. I decided I’ll just try the asparagus tasted the same but regretted it cause it tasted like my shrimp did. When the waitress finally came back to ask how our meal was I was able to tell her that my order came out wrg. She brings me my mashed potatoes and they literally tasted like boxed/packaged mashed potatoes! My best friends meal basically tasted just like mine and she got the half “jerk chicken” entree. No jerk chicken taste or anything. Everything tasted either salty, like propane/lighter fluid or bland! We were able to talk to the manager and also the waitress about our experience, giving them our honest feedback. It seemed like they cared but for me I truly believe in customer service and I didn’t believe we fully got that. We basically got an “I am sorry and we will work on these things blah blah blah but you’d think after you seen our bill was over $160 bucks but more then half our dinners were not eaten you’d offer some kind of compensation. Nope we ended up with upset belly’s and a waste of money! I think the best things we got there was our drinks.

Just recently opened, BB's is a spacious, bright space with cozy seating. Slowly, but surely, more decor is going up. There is music, good service, and delicious food. I'm a huge fan of mussels (and muscles), so I ordered the curry mussels. It was creamy and tasty. I only wish a few slices of toasted bread came with it to stop up all that curry. The lamb chops were wonderful; perfectly seasoned and cooked. Our server, James, was great. He was very polite and attentive. Even the manager came by to say hello and checked on us. This is a great place to grab a bite any time of day or drinks after work.

My boyfriend and I have been to this place twice now. The first time the food was gross I got a chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got their chicken wings. So today I wanted to give them another try because I heard it was black owned and I just wanted to support. Again my boyfriend and I were sooo disappointed, we waited forever for the food and there was literally only 3 other people in the restaurant. Once we got the food it was absolutely disgusting. I had the Ahi tuna bowl and my boyfriend had a past dish. The Rice was soo hard on the tuna bowl and left a weird grainy taste in my mouth. My boyfriend’s pasta was just overall nasty there was something weird with the sauce. It just blows my mind because they take so much time to make the food look pretty ( the presentation of the food was nice) but fall absolutely short when it comes to making sure all the food taste right. Again soo disappointed I really wanted to like the food. Maybe next time we will just get drinks because the waitress we had both times were really nice. Unfortunately my boyfriend still decided to pay for the food and we took a couple bites and just couldn’t stomach it. We literally left without eating the food at all.

The food was not good, after a long wait my smoked, herb roasted chicken arrived very dry. They said that they ran out of wild rice which was hard to believe since it was s little before 8 pm and barely any other people having dinner. I ate my cup of fried, and got a to go box because there was no way I could eat such dry, overcooked chicken. My sister had the pork chop and mash potatoes which sent her running to the restroom after only a couple of bites. We definitely won't be back! It was a total waste of time and money.

Very happy to have found this new gem! Food is top-notch, the location is easily accessible, and the service is excellent!
Bella, our server, was very smiley and knowledgeable; Raksa, the GM, was very friendly and accommodating; and we even met Zach, the chef, who is clearly passionate in all he does!
We'll DEFINITELY be back! I had the lamb chops this time, which were very tender and flavorful. Next time, I'm trying the seabass!

We came here to try the food and to support a local business. We came out on a Friday night and it was dead. We got there and did not wait long for our server to take our drink ordered. We ordered drinks and they were okay. We ordered an app of artichoke dip and it was good. Our main course was sub par, the lobster mac was overcooked and greasy, and the noodles were too soft. The chicken curry pasta was okay. The bill was over $100 and was not worth it the food was overpriced for what we got.We waited a long time for our food to come out for a place that has so few customers. We have no reason to come back here on overpriced food that is not executed properly. .

Exterior. The sidewalk and entrance to the restaurant are quite dark and perhaps a liability.
Interior. The polar opposite of the outside. Lit like a cafeteria! Really, too bright and stark for the evening. Over time, we expect the space to find its personality. Right now, it is lacking. The prints on the walls are a nice start but are indirectly lit or, in fact, are on darkened walls. There isn't a bit of greenery in sight; all dark browns, mustard, and tan. Find a plant, any plant, even if it's fake!
If this large dining room is filled, it is going to be LOUD! There isn't a bit of acoustic compensation in the creatively beamed ceiling. It's likely to need fixing.
Also bright is the kitchen entrance. A partial wall blocks the center, but patrons in the dining room see straight into the area where wait staff are picking up food or hovering. Not well planned out. The open concept kitchen does not work.
Menu. Broad and varied. We started with the Yuka Fries. Nicely done! The Ceasars salad was fresh and flavorful, albeit with loads of breadcrumbs.
Two of us had the Ribeye's. They were cooked to perfection! Although lacking slightly in flavor, a bit of salt and pepper helped. A dusting of something for character couldn't hurt. Create something!
If it feels like we are being critical, it is because overall, this is a very nice place with loads of potential. It is in search of personality and needs a few finishing touches. Brooklyn Center hasn't had a place like this in many years, and we hope deeply it will succeed for years to come!

My dinner companions ordered burgers, which were over done. Medium was well done. I ordered a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, it was ok. The yucca fries were way too thick and too crunchy. The bartender wasn't in and the owner made our drinks, incorrectly. The margarita was unrecognizable as such. The other drink that was ordered was some type of old fashioned, also not recognizable as the drink it was named after. Later that evening I vomited everything I ate and felt 150% better. Better to skip this place till they get their act together. The atmosphere was bland no decor
